Wow this place has everything you can think of to get creative! It also has tons of home decor items. Went in to get pipe cleaners and got so distracted with all the holiday craft items. So many cute project ideas. Store was really clean and organized. Lines were looooong though. I don't know if it was just when I was there but be prepared. Also I have to say prices seemed at least $1.00 to $.50 cents more than Michaels. Bought a package of pipe cleaners for $2.67 - kind of pricey I think for some tinsel and wire. Parking lot in the evening near the entrance needs some lights!
Location is close to Fwy 5 of Burbank Blvd. It's close to the Empire Center and Burbank Media Center. It has its own parking unlike in Los Feliz wherein the store shares parking lot with other establishments. Except for clothes, they have great selection of quality food, personal health and beauty, home essentials and etc. Staff are helpful but most of them don't smile. They always yell and talk to each other even in front of customers. It has gas station, food court, tire center, pharmacy, photo center and optical department.
This lovely craft / home decor store is my favorite place to just browse and get ideas. I have to budget carefully before walking in or else I may buy everything!! Make sure you download the store's app to get the weekly 40% off coupon. Many departments are constantly on sale (like fabrics are almost always 30% off marked prices with certain types on additional markdown). I love the atmosphere and shopping while listening to instrumental hymns or praise songs too.
Always has all the art supplies I need. Selection is great and most items are on sale. The problem arises when you need help. There is never anyone on the floor to help you. I found one person one time and asked her for a price on an item and she told me there were 2 price scanners in the store. I would never have known because they are not clearly marked where you can see them and she wouldn't show me where they were.
Kids really enjoyed coming here. Tons of figurines to pick from varying in price. You paint your figurine and leave it to be baked and glazed. Then you get a call a few days later and you have this amazing shiny piece. We've also attended a birthday party here and it's super fun and organized. The wonderful lady who runs the store also told us that you can do a girls night out kind of thing as well there.
Wish they were open on Sunday- only because they aren't. Lol. No but really- I love this place! I can spend hours upon hours browsing and buying. Their frame department is super helpful and they do an amazing job! I broke my sons memorial shadow box glass and they fixed it while I waited because they knew how important it was to me. Their coupons are great as well as the rotating sales.
Great selection and great staff of people! The door checkers are always friendly. (Upon leaving they will always draw a smiley face on our receipt.). If they don't have something in stick they will look it up to see if it's on order. Apart from the long lines at the gas station and the busy parking lot (at any Costco) - this one is worth the trip.
I love my time wondering through Hobby Lobby! For a mom with two crafty girls, It is a one stop shopping experience! I can get all the craft and school supplies necessary for my kiddos while I shop for fun frames and wall hanging for our house. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Shopping there is a leisurely experience of enjoyment!
My entire home is from Hobby lobby! They have any thigh and everything and I can't leave there without spending all my money. I can get lost in there for hours. I'm pretty sure it's my happy place. My only complaint is the check out. There are no bar codes on anything so every item is hand input by a code and it can take forever.
Service is good, but they have a tendency of discontinuing some of our favorite items. Photo department is a great price, but can tend to print dark. Employees have been great. Location has been clean. Parking is a bear, but that is just Costco. Returns take FOREVER. Not unusual to take 30 min - 1 hr for that.
