I reluctantly gave 4 stars... I wanted to give less because of our last visit. Usually once you get seated the service is really good. We not only had to wait longer than they said to be seated, but the waitress took forever to even come & take our drink order. Then she took forever again to take our food order. After seeing people that were seated after us already full-fledge eating, I began to get irritated that our food was taking insanely long. When we finally got the food, she messed something up & said she could get the correct one, but she would have to charge me!!!!!!!! I was floored! Maybe my irritation was clouding my taste buds, but the pancakes weren't as yummy as they usually are. Very disappointing visit. :(
Aside from your typical Denny's rep, some of their food is very good. I can't explain why, but their burgers are extremely tasty. The seasoned fries are very yummy. My son can't get enough of the vanilla yogurt. The breakfast is pretty good, I was very excited for their new pancakes and they were just ok. IHOP by far has the best pancakes. While we have our favorite waitresses that are phenomenal, many of the other staff are not that great. They are slow & not welcoming. So this is great for some things, but not others. But you can get some good food here.
Bea Bea's is oh so good. Their Lox Benedict is awesome and their Vanilla Soy Latte is yummy. I really like this place but it is just so busy. I mean ridiculously busy to the point that we've drove through the parking lot on hopes to have a meal there only to find the line out front oh so long on numerous occasions. Guess it tells you just how popular Bea Bea's is. I just don't want to wait 45 minutes for a table. Try to go at a non peak time, like on a Tuesday at 10:30 am.
