Buying a car is stressful enough but having to do it under a time crunch, is even worse. Approx. two weeks prior to be beginning of the college semester, we decided that our daughter needed a new car., (safer, more space). We shopped locally just to get a feel for what we wanted. We narrowed it down to two cars and my husband took over from there. We found a car that we really wanted at Sutherlin's, (looked clean and had a suspiciously low price), so he made the initial contact. and spoke with Vance. I believe that it was the next day that we went to Buford because we were in a hurry. The dealership is conveniently located right off of Highway 20. The car was very clean and the price that they were asking was far below the blue book value. The test drive was great and we were able to seal the deal. The car , (a Rav 4), was exactly as presented, no slight of hand here. As I remember, everything was processed within twenty-four hours and we were able to pick up the car in a timely manner. Vance Robinson was professional, direct, and handled business efficiently. I did not have to give my husband the side eye or the "let's bounce" look. It was a very pleasant experience for a very impatient person. My daughter absolutely loves her car and continues to enjoy it everyday. I will definitely be seeing Mr. Robinson for my next car purchase.
Just purchased a new CR-V from Honda Mall of Georgia. I shopped 3 dealers via e-mail enquiries, and Honda Mall of GA was the most competitive by far. Our sales consultant was Josh Mikkelsen, possibly the calmest and most helpful Honda salesperson in the Southeast.. Josh made this our best auto buying experience ever. I recommend calling ahead and setting up an appointment with Josh to assure you have his full attention. He is a busy guy. Do research on internet sites like Edmund's.com so you know what you want and some real price ranges, and review what you have learned with Josh. He will show you in detail the features of any vehicles that interest you and will provide you with a fair price, providing you savings and the dealer a fair profit. When closing the deal with the folks in the back office, recommend you do NOT purchase the extended warranty unless you have done your internet research first. I found much better prices on the internet which that office could not even come close to matching. You have plenty of time to get the extended warranty later, if you want it. Bottom line, try Josh at the Honda Mall of Ga to get that new or used Honda.
Before going to Rick Hendrick of Buford, I had never bought had a new car. Any car I had ever driven was used. After marrying my lovely wife and having our first child, my perspective changed. I wanted something new and reliable for the safety of my family. To be quite honest I wanted a car to be proud of. As a first time car buyer, I was weary about the car buying process until I had a few conversations with Derek Satterfield, my Rick Hendrick representative. Believe me I hit him a barrage of questions concerning safety, price, and mpg. He was polite, patient and knowledgeable the throughout the entire process; probably more so than I would have been in his shoes, ha ha. Anyway, I was able to get a 2013 Chevy for a manageable price and just in time for my anniversary; making me husband of the year! I had a great experience; to anyone reading this, I'm sure you will too. You can ask for Derek Satterfield, I can vouch for his efficiency, but if his knowledge is indicative of their employee training, I'm sure any one of the Hendrick staff will do a great job for you. Thanks Rick Hendrick of Buford, you helped make my anniversary a memorable one.
