The F-1 student visa is just what it sounds like – it is for individuals who wish to come to the U.S. to pursue full-time studies.
Work Visas
The H-2A visa allows United States agricultural employers who anticipate a shortage of domestic workers to bring nonimmigrant foreign workers to the United States to perform agricultural labor or services of a temporary or seasonal nature. This visa, like many other employment visas, requires employer sponsorship. The employer must meet several requirements before actually bringing nonimmigrant workers to the United States. If the employer meets the requirements, he or she may bring a nonimmigrant worker into the country for a period of up to 10 months.

Wills
A Last Will and Testament is just one part of a comprehensive estate plan. If a person dies without a Will, he or she is said to have died “intestate,” and state laws will determine how and to whom the person’s assets will be distributed. Ultimately, a Will is a formal set of instructions to the probate court detailing how a person wants to dispose of his or her assets upon death. A Will may also be used to nominate an executor (or personal representative) of a person’s estate, as well as a guardian for minor children.

We have developed effective strategies to assist clients in dealing with the concerns and challenges that come with aging. For instance, we have established living trusts for many of our aging clients. With such a trust, a family member or a trust company can take responsibility for managing our client’s property should our client become disabled. A Power of Attorney is a legal document giving an attorney-in-fact the legal right to act on someone’s behalf. The amount of power granted depends upon the terms of the document.
