Tandoori's Royal Indian Cuisine

Attended a bridal shower at The Palms recently and was terribly disappointed. The roast beef was loaded with gristle and fat and the chicken was a pan full of legs and thighs. No chicken breast, ice was melted, soda was warm and flat, they ran out of food and the guests went hungry. Will never, ever go there again. Ever.

The food was very good. This was my first experience eating at an Indian restaurant. I will definitely go back!

we have been going there for years, we are there almost weekly & I bring all of my business meetings & family parties there. If the atmosphere, food and service were not good, I would not... We enjoy the food as well as the staff, they are ALWAYS attentive, not just when the owner is watching and I believe "hammy" is a bit overboard for someone who is very friendly and tends to care about his customers- I have watched him bring first timers through the buffet explaining each food and asking their taste preferences... and obviously, MANY of the customers are regular visitors that have developed a rappor with the staff or he wouldn't be talking to them at the tables? He knows many by name & has a great relationship with customers- to me, that is a GOOD thing. I've NEVER had to wait for plates to be cleared, a bill or water refill, in fact, I've never been in a restaurant where they are on the ball so much (and WHILE the owner was in India!) Why not try it again & see for yourself?

I went there for the first time the other day and absolutly loved it. The food was so flavorful, i would definetly reccomend the rice with the dried fruits and also the original naan. I really liked the colorful decor and the waitstaff was great. I will for sure be back!

I thought the quality and taste were excellent, as was the service. All of the servers were courteous, patient and not pushy at all. The highlight was the dessert, Golub Jamba. It was to die for. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Prices were fair as well.

I'm writing because the review for Tandoori's Royal Indian Cuisine in Williamsville NY by Lynett was clearly written by a competitor as it mentions Kabab & curry and encourages customers to go there instead. The review on the same page by food271 has horrible grammar and I can't understand what they are complaining about.

The atmosphere and service at Tandoori's is excellent ! A rose for the lady upon leaving is a very nice touch.

Outstanding Indian food and Excellent service! I had the best Murg Tikka Masala I have ever had. I will seek out this restaurant on my next visit to the Buffalo area. THANKS!

Outstanding service. Good Indian food. Very nice waiters to chat with! Girls get roses at the end - nice treat! A little bit expensive but I would go again!

Tandoori's food is always excellent and the service is, too, providing recommendations for menu items that complement each other.

the best indian in buffalo - and i've tried them all! love it. lunch buffet - gotta try it

I ordered take out for dinner and was impressed! Not only did I get a good meal, but a beautiful rose with it. My co-worker picked up the food and upon returning he raved about the hospitality from the owner. I ordered my meal hot and was happy with the spice. I also got dessert - mango ice cream and some unique cheese in a condensed milk.

We continue to dine at this fine restaurant because the food is delicately prepared and is quite delicious. The new menu makes the dining experience even better. It is a fairly long drive for us to come to the Tandoori but it is worht it.

This is another place I checked out while travelling - and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Indian food and avoids chain dining. They start you off with a free "sample-sized" appetizer - a nice touch. The food is good, although I think the portions are relatively small for the price. If you're dining family style, I'd recommend at least one dish per diner - unless you are light eaters. You might want to throw in an appetizer or two to share as well. A funny touch is the rose they present to each woman at the end of the meal.

Great attentive service. We sampled a wide range of veg, fish and meat dishes, all were great. The ladies loved the roses too!
