Located in Amherst, N.Y., MusicalFare Theatre is a nonprofit organization that develops and presents a variety of music shows and live entertainment plays. It employs more than 950 local actors, musicians and designers. The theater has special devices for individuals with physical disabilities and hearing impairments. MusicalFare Theatre organizes fundraising events, as well as works to promote local theaters in the state s Buffalo area. It also offers Stories of Life, which is a program for senior citizens. The theater s internship program enables students to gain professional experience in the areas of performing arts, dramatics and music. MusicalFare Theatre is a member of The Buffalo Theatre Alliance, which is a consortium of professional production theatres.
