For many many years Petplex has been our family vet, always caring for our pets with the best Doctors and Vet Techs. They take care of all routine shots, surgeries & checkups, but really help diagnose a sick pet. They let you know treatment options and costs up front. We have used their boarding & grooming services also. I appreciate the "cat only" exam room.

Doctor Doug Poorman is by far the greatest vet that I have ever had!!!! He is VERY professional, has such a GREAT heart, and services are priced VERY reasonable!!!! He is my vet for life!!!! I have a Bernese Mountain dog, and a black lab/Weimar mix, and they are both very healthy, and I feel 100% confident when I take my dogs in! Many years ago, he was the only vet willing to wait an hour after they closed to help my Stewie (mastiff/hound mix) after he was hit by a car! On top of it, he stayed late to fix my boys leg that was broke, and put his hip back in place, my husband I left the vet's office after nine at night, and Dr. Doug stayed until Stewie's broken leg was fixed and hip put back in place, so I am unsure how much longer it was after we left. Any vet that is willing to not only stay after hours, but be such a WONDERFUL vet is SUPER cool in my book!!!!

Per their request I provided the county animal shelter documentation at the time of my dog's spay. This was so that they could direct bill the shelter for her surgery. I then received a bill for $80 for the spay. Upon contacting the vet, the "office manager" advised me that they have no contract with the shelter and that I needed to pay the bill and attempt to get reimbursement from the shelter. This is not what I was told by their office or by the shelter. After discussing this for 20 minutes she refused to do anything further. I contacted the shelter and was reassured that they did in fact have a contract with the vet and that the vet's office had just called them asking for my adoption paperwork because they had "lost it". When I attempted to call the vet back to make certain that they had the paperwork and would be following up, I was yelled at and hung up on by the "office manager". I attempted to call them back again and once again she picked up the phone, screamed at me that we were done and hung up on me. Completely unprofessional and unorganized.

Dont take ur animals to this place...me and my aunt found a kitten in bad shape with in a few days he was looking really good except he had fleas so we took him in to petplex for flea meds they gave my aunt flea meds for a dog so when she put it on him a few hours later he started twitching really bad like he was having a seizure so my aunt washed the meds off and called petplex and they said bring him in they gave him 2 shots and kept him over night. petplex didnt charge my aunt for this cuz it was their fault for not giving her the right meds...when we picked him up the next day the women who gave my aunt the wrong meds rolled her eyes at my aunt and had no remorse for almost killing a kitten the kitten was covered in poop and had his eyes matted shut and was still twitching...i think they dont know what they r doing and they r very rude i have other things i could say that r negative about this place but there is just to many problems that i have had to list on here. i honestly dont think they care about animals they r just there to make money. i can honestly say every time i have been there they done something wrong. i will never take my animals here again. i have to give them a star to post this but really they dont deserve one
