Lakeside Puppies

We bought our puppy on Thursday. So far she's been great! You can tell they take time to socialize their puppies. Tom was very informative and made it clear if I have any questions or issues to call him and he would be willing to help us out! I was very happy with my experience and our family loves our new addition:)

I had a very similar experience to Jennifer F, two years ago with our Pomeranian puppy. She was deathly ill with giardia and two bacterial gut infections. Had to be hospitalized overnight at the expense of thousands of dollars, she nearly died. She also has a flat coat, HIP DYSPLASIA (vet said, "Oh my god, did you get insurance on this dog?" when she saw the xray), severely and early-onset luxating patellas ... and a very touchy tummy for life. I'm also about 99% sure she is NOT purebred, as is my vet. Other breeders have told me to STAY AWAY from this breeder, they're a puppy mill. I love our dog and we've nursed her to health although she cannot jump and has to be fed only homemade dog food for life. Wouldn't trade her for the world, but Tom & Sheila are selling defective animals and they know it, and they WILL NOT even offer to help make it right.

If I could give negitive stars I would. I got my baby beagle from here. The first week I had to bring him to the vet for vomiting, explosive diarrhea, and a red belly. It turned out he had giardia, a bladder infection, and a skin infection. Skin infection was from him laying in feces and urine in a small cage. He was only 6 weeks when I got him. It took three months and hundreds of dollars for him to get healthy. I wouldn't give him up for the world but I would never get a puppy from here again. They should be inspected by the Breeders Association for neglect and abuse.

My boyfriend and I purchased our puppy February 1st, he was 9 weeks old when we got him. We were very pleased with working with Tom and Shelia, they were super helpful and answered all of our silly questions we had! We love our little guy and wouldn't trade him in for anything!! Thanks Tom and Shelia.

We purchased our pomeranian through Lakeside Puppies at the end of September. The owners were very helpful in our questions and giving us guidance.

We were open and honest with them and they were with us, and willing to talk us through everything. There were no surprises with our puppy, and she has checked out to be very healthy.

Beware of this place, and please do not buy any puppies from here. They are selling sick puppies because this puppy mill is infested with the intestinal parasite giardia, which is very contagious, poses a serious health risk to other pets, and does not respond well to treatment. They are very aware of the presence of this parasite and refuse to do anything about it. Please find a reputable breeder who is willing to disclose all health information and keeps living conditions more sanitary for their puppies.
