        The Episcopal Day School provides a variety of academic and recreational programs for students in kindergarten through grade six. Founded in 1948, the school s facilities include a parking area, library, cafeteria, playground, workroom, gymnasium and classrooms. Its core curriculum includes science, Spanish, music, social studies, computers, English, math, and health and physical education. The Episcopal Day School s library houses a variety of picture dictionaries, storybooks, textbooks, puzzles, and quiz, fiction and nonfiction books. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that sponsors fundraising events and parent-teacher conferences. Located in Brownsville, Texas, it is accredited by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools.

        My son has been at Episcopal for the past three years. I could not be happier with the environment, safety, curriculum or culture at EDS. The school is beautifully set on a resaca which doubles as a live science lab; the teachers, staff, and parents look out for everyone's best interest and wellness; the curriculum is not only great but the results are there-- EDS kids outperform other local schools in standardize tests, entrance exams, and curriculum based competitions; and finally, the culture is fantastic. There is an awesome blend of families here of all different faiths and ethnicities. The parents are active and willing to pitch in, not to mention friendly. The teachers and staff are the right mix of warmhearted yet focused on the goal: all students will exceed while becoming great citizens.

        Great School

        They offer more for the students then the other private schools. As a parent I speak from experience. The teachers and administrators care for the students and there success. My son has been to almost every private school in Brownsville but this one is the best!!
