Melody 49 Twin Drive in

Melody 49 is Awesome. It's the best Drive in around. We are there all the time. The manger is always friendly and helpful. The redhead in the concession stand is always so nice and funny we just love getting waited on by her. Also the little lady in the box office is so sweet. This is a great place for families. We love buying the delicious popcorn and food from the stand because we like to help support the drive in.

Yes the owner is rude. He can could use a course in people skills.. the prices are high and place is dirty.. the rent a cop is a joke.. customers come to enjoy themselves and watch a movie.. Give them the respect they deserve since it's us who keep you open.. you are driving away business.. word of mouth and socia media is all it takes.. lower your prices fix up the place....

My son and I have always had a wonder time going here.

I love the family friendly atmosphere.

Plus I love that you can also bring your dog with you without being harassed.

The Lady that runs the ticket booth is the best and extremely friendly.

I am already making plans to view many movies here next year!

I could go on and on about the way I was treated when bringing my five grandchildren to the drive-in. but I'm going to cut this short and get to the point the owner of the drive in is a very rude unprofessional old man he scoops up people's money and then treat them as if they are a common criminal because they are parked in a row that they are not supposed to be in. instead of coming up to the vehicle and presenting yourself in a professional way, he wants to walk up to the vehicle and tell me to move my car and not even tell me who he is just demanding me to move my vehicle. so of course person will have issue with this so when I ask who the heck are you he tells me to get off his property! what a jerk! the property is dumpy the bathrooms are old and dilapitated the concession stand could use a lot of TLC. I have visited the establishment on many occasions but I will not allow someone to treat me like that. so if you would choose to go here just beware darn shame there isn't more driving aroundI have visited the establishment on medications but I will not allow someone to treat me like that. /2/15... We went to see the new Avengers movie and I jumped out of the car to use the ATM( because last year they did not take credit or debit cards) was accused of trying to sneak onto the property. I explained to the manager what was going on and he got rude and nasty with me so I started to walk away and he threatened my 14yo son. I called the police and was trespassed off the property for calling the police myself. I have been coming here since I was 8yo, but I will never come back! And not just because I am not allowed to! A small town business should not threaten teens of families who make this a summer thing. I will never come back and do not recommend anyone to come here unless you want to be treated like a criminal!

I really like to support local businesses, but the Melody 49 seems to have fallen on hard times. The manager could likely befit from some training in personal relations. I’ve observed his interactions with customers at the drive-inn with horror. It seems to go beyond a simple lack of professionalism, which could be overlooked, and treads into the realm of lack of simple social skills. I deal with the public myself and can understand the level of frustration that comes with rough and rowdy guest but there comes a point where treating your guests like the enemy becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

I remember a time when the Melody 49 was a wonderful night out and a family establishment, sadly that time seems to have passed. I hope this isn’t a sign that the 49 will eventually fail like so many other drive-inns in this area, but the poor state of repair and clear lack of interest on the part of management to act professionally are very likely a nail in this nearly historic businesses’ casket.

this so-called operation they think is a business is filthey and not to mintion rude, i got didrespected by the oner and so called cop, mind you i ashed this officer to see cradentiald such as a badge and he could not perduce one he repeatadly called me dude. Now on to the manager/ owner? he aproched me with his shirt untucked and his zipper down!! he also called me dude and i quote "DONT LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT"!!!! i did notsay anything wrong> i also was polite in saying yes sir and no sir as i was rased! i will not let this go for now i will NEVER RETURN and i will also turn them in to the Better Business Burrow!!!!!!!!! so much for my anaversery with my wife!!!
