Williams Auto Sales

May 18 2010 We purchased a 1998 GMC Yukon with a little over 50,000 miles. Trying to downsize to a car, we had a buyer coming to purchase it and they pulled a carfax and found it to have 250,700 in April 9, 2010. After Contacting the DMV they informed me that Adam Gillespie with Williams Auto Sales purchased it with 250,700 mileage with actual mileage checked. Then again April 28, 2010 it was also recorded with the DMV with the same Mileage. On May 15, 2010 The title was then re registered as Mileage Exempt. We got the title in our name as a new buyer May 18, 2010. A mechanic test drove it and said there was no way there was low mileage on the car, that it definately was a high mileage car.

We contacted Adam on his Cell Phone 12/29/2011 to talk to him about the issue. He said the mileage is correct at what he told us 50,000. And that the DMV made the mistake. I then called the DMV 3 more times and talked to 3 different people that said it is virtually impossible for it to be there mistake. It was entered with 250,700 2 different times with actual mileage checked. We then re contacted Adam and told them what was told to us. He asked how much we wanted for the car, when we said we wanted what we paid hi. He then said he was going to take car of the issue for us and try to get it fixed. Also, that he was aware of the punishment and fines associated with Odometer tampering and mileage fraud. He said to give him to the end of the day. We waited until 12/30/2011 to call him back. Now all the calls are going to voicemail. He will not return any messages and is now ignoring us.
