I was there a couple weeks ago and dug in the back for some hand tools. No prices on anything but the owner tells me " the more you buy the better the price". I found 46 sockets, a ratchet and a few screwdrivers. He asked $50 which I paid without any negotiation. I go in today and dug in the back for almost 2 hours through a pile of unorganized clutter and came up with about 50 pieces about the same as last time, couple ratchets, sockets, and wrenches. This time when it came to pay he starts organizing everything into "sets" and tells me "it's going to be expensive, this is snap-on". I jokingly said "it was last week too".I say "how much" and he pulls 5 rusty wrenches aside and says "$25 just for those" and then a set of about 10 sockets and says " those right there are $50". Granted this was snap-on brand but it was old rusty, greasy, with some bent pieces and I had to excavate it all from a huge pile of garbage. Then he acts like he doesn't remember me from 2 weeks ago? Never again will I set foot in there. I guess it just depends what cycle the moon is in how the pricing works. As a business owner he is entitled to charge whatever he wishes, but for new prices I will buy new.
