i had a problem with a dell laptop i bought from t.d. through amazon. when the hard drive failed after a couple of months i feared a had a lemon. i called amazon first and they put me through to t.d. where i first spoke to avi fleischer's assistant. i was rather hot under the collar (but controlled lol) and he explained that this was a matter for Dell to deal with as the computer was still under warranty; he gave me some excellent tips for how to deal with Dell; e.g. don't take no for an answer. (note; i had already had the hard drive replaced, which i realized could void the warranty.) the assistant also explained his boss was not in at the moment. a few hours later i got an email from avi; he was disturbed at my response to the situation and reiterated that this was an issue for Dell to deal with. i wrote back apologizing for my attitude and we have had a terrific email correspondence since then. Dell did replace the hard drive. if i ever had need for one of the products t.d. sells, i will surely buy from them. GREAT customer service.

I was in the market for a Panasonic TC-L32X1, one of the best LCDs for gaming due to its low input lag numbers. Unfortunately, this model is out of production and the supply is dwindling even among online retailers. I had a bad experience with another store who claimed it was in stock, yet a week later admitted they did not have one and could not get another. This made me wary, and 5 stores later I realized just how short on stock everyone was. I saw it at 1stopcamera.com, with a great price to boot, but I was still cautious and called to confirm it was in stock. I was greeted pleasantly and informed that it was, and was even offered to process the order over the phone so it could be reserved for me. I declined and ordered online, and the next day received shipping info. The TV is here now, exactly as advertised, and I couldn't be happier. The reviews here may be a mixed bag but my experience was stellar.
I found the phone support for my order to be very supportive and knowledgeable. The only reservation I have is whether the order will be delivered in a timely fashion. Quick delivery (a couple weeks) was assured me because the products were in stock. I've been continuously updated on the status of the order which is good. However, it has in fact now been two weeks since invoice and the order is still awaiting confirmation that they are finally aboard a delivery truck. There seems to have been a lot of hand offs from the company's order processing to the company's shipping/staging and from the company's shipping/staging to the shipper's warehouse to hopefully finally getting on the truck for delivery. With still no target delivery date I'm not in a position to know yet whether the order to delivery lead time was at least industry standard (2-3 weeks for large appliances)
