John Hu is an artist in the classical sense. He is committed to his craft. His skill and dedication is reflected in the end product. I first commissioned him to manufacture a suit for me 11 years ago. It is still in exquisite condition and turns heads when I wear it. I followed that suit up with 10 others over a 24 month span. All 11 are still in my wardrobe rotation. Each of them impress passersby when I wear them. I have even commissioned him to produce a full length cashmere overcoat with 1940's styled double-breasted lapels. Once the economy recovers, I highly anticiapate returning to John for more of his hand-made creations!
I know when I buy anything that needs alterations I can drop by Wide World and they'll take care of it. Their new location on Utica is an improvement over the Linden Blvd shop. The owner and staff are very friendly and stick by their word to deliver on time. Truly a neighborhood business worthy of support from the community.
I've been using Paramount Tailors to adjust my suits. Being of petite stature that really has to be done to most of my dress suits. They do such a professional job that the suits look custom made. Thanks for making me always look professional. Cheryl .... Brooklyn.
