    One of NYC's Worst hospitals

I fell and broke my rotator cuff, shattering it into 5 pieces. I was taken by ambulance to Wycoff Heights' Emergency Room, where I waited more than 6 hours before being seen.

I am oxygen-dependent, my own oxygen ran out, and they were unable to provide me with any while I was waiting. Neither did they offer me so much as a tylenol for the excruciating pain.

When the doctor's saw me they offered surgery as the only option. I checked myself out, against medical advice, and since it was by now early evening, opted to stay overnight at a relatives until they could take me in the morning to a good hospital's ER- where I received immediate and proper care and treatment (no surgery!)

Wycoff Heights should be closed, it doesn't even meet third-world standards for care.
