Mother's day ruined.
Mother's day ruined. That was the caption for yesterday. We had a reservation for 12:30 and were not seated for a good 20 minutes. Not a problem. The problem was that we weren't even acknowledged at the door. No greeting or offer of a drink at the bar. The only time we were actually spoken to was when I approached the bartender after standing there for 10 minutes. We were finally seated, without an apology for the wait. The service was horrible and the food was even worse. Everything was cold, the pancake (singular) was hard as a rock and we weren't even served our french toast. My daughter didn't even get her food until five minutes before we were getting ready to leave. Upon our exist my sister complained to the manager who excused himself to get our waitress to come and speak to her. He couldn't be bothered.
Our only redemption for the day was when my mother spoke to the family waiting for a table and got them to leave after she described our experience.
They should be embarrassed for charging 25pp for what they offered. If there was a negative rating I would be giving it. -

Very disappointing!
Very disappointing! Meat undercooked, bus boys too busy socializing to fill up my glass with water. no caviar on the menu- definitely not five star.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the decor. The good is by far the worst I have ever had. The service is down there with the food...
I simply don't understand how such a beautiful restaurant can stink at everything!!!
The location is great on third avenue and they offer valet...but that's not enough to get me back.

I would only recommend getting desert at…
I would only recommend getting desert at The Pearl Room. As for the food, go elsewhere first. Waitress was ok, but the music will drive you crazy!!!

Drinks served to my wife and I in dirty glasses.
Long wait for a table.
Mediocre food, and took extremely long to serve.

I wasn't thrilled about the atmosphere…
I wasn't thrilled about the atmosphere of this restaurant.
Outdoor seating was nothing to brag about. Tables so cramped together.
Waitress gets an A for effort, but we waited forever to get drinks from the bartender.
Ate the Atlantic Salmon, quality of the fish just wasn't there..

woohoo!! Finally a great italian restaurant!!! we were just walking by a few nights ago and figured we would try it for the first time !! Boy am i glad we did!! what a great night we had.. music was great, i like that we can dress up if we want or dress down i love this place what a great atmosphere the food was great and service was impeccable !!! what a nice staff!! you walk in and get such a great positive feeling.. i will def be returning back at the pearl room !!!!!

OMMggggggGG i cant wait to go back to The PEarl Room the waitress was very attentive but not annoying she was sooo nice and made you feel right at home ..our section was so romantic and so comfy the menu had a great variety more so then other restaurants in bay ridge the food was excellent and came out pretty faST .. THE CHECK was a nice surprise too very reasonaBLE FOR quality great place to eat it you will not be dissapointed!

I went there with my girls and i must say what a surprise!!! very good dining experience!!! the service was excellent and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing . we got such a warm feeling here .. the food was delicious and decor just beautiful ! i highly recommend The Pearl Room

The portions here were small and not exceptional. It took them forever to bring us the food, even though the place was practically empty. When the food arrived, three out of four plates arrived at once and we had to wait another ten minutes for the last plate. My friend ordered a plate with shrimps...how can you forget the shrimp?.

I had heard great things about this place and had high hopes for it. Easy enough to get a table. From the second I stepped foot in the restaurant I got a weird feeling. Just didn't seem that welcomed. The ravioli was disgusting. Too expensive for the quality.

i love this restaurant!!!! my new fav place to go to ... it has impeccable service and wonderful food the waiter marius was great he recomended the cowboy steak and it was off the hook!! The owner and chef anthony came to our table and helped us pick out a great wine to go with our dinner i have to say it was prob one of the best meals in a long time....

Terrific place!! Outstanding food and nice people. I loved the atmosphere. It was fun and a gorgeous place. The waitress was friendly and cute.. i will def request her again ..;) even though she wont go for a 60 yr old.... I will go back to the pearl room .. If you havent been at THe Pearl Room already then what are you waiting for...

I WENT TO THE PEARL ROOM ON MONDAY AND IT WAS MY FIRST TIME AND I FIGURED I WOULD TRY IT SINCE ITS ONE OF THE ONLY RESTAURANTS OPENED ON MONDAY IT WAS MY GFS BIRTHDAY AND THE WAITRESS DONNA MADE IT SO SPECIAL FOR HER SHE GAVE US A ROMANTIC BOOTH WITH CANDLES AND ROSE PEDALS .. WE STARTED WITH THE TRUFFLE SPECIAL APPETIZER AND IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE!! MY GIRLFRIEND ORDERED THE CHILEAN SEABASS WHICH IS PROBABLY THE BEST SEAFOOD DISH WE HAVE EVER EATEN IN OUR LIVES I ORDERED THE BEEF SHORT RIB WITH GNOCCI IN WHICH DONNA RECOMMENDED TO ME AND BOY AM I GLAD SHE DID IT WAS TO DIE FOR !!! WE ENDED THE MEAL WITH THE STAFF COMING OUT WITH A CANDLE IN THE DESSERT CALLED CHOCOLATE HEAVEN SINGING TO HER AND MAKING THE NIGHT END OFF GREAT THE DESSERT WAS DEF A TASTE FROM HEAVEN ...THE OWNER ANTHONY GAVE US A CHAMPAGNE TOAST AND MADE IT ONE OF THE BEST AND SPECIAL NIGHTS WE HAVE EVER HAD I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.. BESIDES THE FOOD BEING UNBELIEVABLE THE STAFF REALLY CARED AND MADE IT A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!
