I have been going ot the Pearl Room for the past 10 years and the food is consistantly excellent! There is not one bad item on the menu. A few years ago I had my baby shower there, and the owner, Anthony, came in early to make sure everything was set up, which was great, because I was nervous that an early Sunday party wasnt going to go well. The brunch was awesome.... my friends still say how I had the best baby shower because it was intimate, pretty and the food was so good. Anytime I pass thru Brooklyn, I try to stop by for lunch or dinner. There is plenty on the menu for my kids too. And they are picky eaters! I recommend this place to everyone. I look forward to going back.

My friend and I had the best dinner at the Pearl Room. Anthony, Nancy and the staff made us feel like stars...and the food was out of this world! The oysters were fresh and sweet with the taste of the ocean, sea bass seared to perfection and the most luscious Creme Brulee I've ever tasted! Thank you, Pearl Room, for making Bay Ridge your home!

The co-owner, Anthony, is nothing more than a jealous womanizer and buffoon.
Having been charged fifteen dollars for a small carafe of coffee, taking advantage
of the customer is their specialty.
Anthony is cheap, doing his own plumbing at the restaurant. You will be smelling the bathroom while trying to eat at the bar or nearby table. Drinks are often served in dirty, lipstick stained glasses.
He lacks class, and is abusive to the staff. They all have plenty of time to smoke outside, do not wash their hands, and then handle the plates, etc..
As for the food, it is mediocre/bland; and any other restaurant in Bay Ridge easily trumps it. It is far from gourmet dining. -

This place was AMAZING!!! OUTSTANDING customer service from the moment we walked in. My father and I took my mother here for her birthday and we got 5 star service and food!! The hostess, waitress and the owner(I think he was the owner) wished her a Happy Birthday, all kept coming over to check on us and took our coats for us. The food was like heaven. We had a special that was goat cheese and pear purses and it was full of flavor! The vegetable risotto was delicious! We sat next to the fireplace and had such a lovely time. We were all very impressed by the food, service and decor and hope to go back again soon. THAT is how you do business! I would DEFINITLY recommend this restaurant by FAR!

the best restaurant in brooklyn!
my boyfriend and i went to the pearl room for our anniversary. from the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed. We sat at a booth which had a very romantic feel. We both loved the food. we tried a special appetizer called truffle, i wanted more but had to save room for dinner. I had the gnocchi, it was outstanding as well as the prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin. all in all a great experience i would definitely go again soon!

GREAT ATMOSPHERE
I HAD LUNCH QUITE A FEW TIMES WITH FRIENDS AT THE PEARL ROOM BUT I HAVE TO SAY I WAS JUST THERE A FEW WEEKS AGO WITH A FRIEND AND WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AS WERE THE MARTINI'S. JOE OUR WAITER WAS EXCELLENT AND WE RECEIVED SPECIAL ATTENTION FROM ANTHONY HIM SELF..I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY THE PEARL ROOM FOR ANY AND ALL OCCASIONS. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING THERE ON A TUESDAY FOR PURPLE PASSION DISCO NIGHT, JUST TRYING TO FIND THE PERFECT PURPLE ENSEMBLE.

Great Party Venue
Hello,
I recently attended a party as a guest and I was truly impressed with the entire affair.
The room was very attractive, the host extremely gracious and outgoing and the food was excellent.
While the party was going on I noticed a very busy bar area full of a mix of what seems like local and professionals.
Everyone seemed to be having a great time here also.
I am planning an aniversary party soon and will definitly have it at the Pearl Room.

This restaurant has a very romantic environment: a dimly lit atomsphere and a well dressed crowd; it's a great place to go to even for a cocktail and some appetizers. The staff is always attentive and highly professional. You can't beat the food--it is excellent. Chef Anthony Rinaldi is warm and is always fixing up something unique and tasty in the kitchen to send to your table. He is a gracious chef who comes to the table and greets the guests. You will always find a fun crowd at Pearl Room. It is also nice to see a place in which people from all ages enjoy Bay Ridge together. I highly recommend this restaurant.
