Looks like this crook has a long and glorious history of deceiving not only his customers, but also longtime friends and associates. Looks like lies and deceit is the only thing he is good at. Stay away from this scum!!

NEVER EVER BUy ANYTHING FROM YURY WHO IS THE BOSS OF SOLO PORTE.!!!!! HE IS A CROOK & A CON ARTIST. HE TAKES MONEY FROM PEOPLE AND ONLY ORDERS THESE DOORS LIKE A YEARS LATER. HE USES THIS MONEY TO PAY FOR HIS OWN LIFE. HE IS A LIAR AND LIES TO ALL OF HIS COSTUMERS. I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE TO EVER BUY FROM. ALSO HE SAY THESE ARE ITALIAN DOORS WELL THATS PURE BULL****. BECAUSE IN FACT HE ORDERS THEM FROM CHINA AND SELLS THEM AS ITALIAN DOORS FOR A MUCH HIGHER PRICE!!!!! Do not buy anything from this store. The Management are all a bunch of crooks and liars. They take your money and make you wait a year for your doors. They take your money but dont place the order. They never call you back and you need to go to the store to fight with the crooked boss Yury. Avoid this store at all costs!!!!

I completely agree with the previous review. I placed my order for the doors in October 2010, and finally received them in June 2011!



The sales people were very nice initially, when I was placing the order. I was promised that the doors would be delivered within 2 months. When they were not delivered on time, I started trying to reach the store and the owner, unsuccessfully. The voice mailbox was always full, and nobody picked up the phone. When I finally was able to reach the store, I was told that the shipment was delayed and I continued waiting.



When the doors were finally delivered, the installation team had no idea how to install them. They spent two days in my apartment, making a mess and not being able to put them in. In the process, I was yelled at that because of my doors they were missing valuable estimate appointments for new customers.



On the first day of attempted installations, I was told that my doors were not going to slide properly and I would not be able to reach part of my closet ever! Apparently, according to the installers, I have agreed to that fact at the time of purchase (of course, that didn't happen in reality).



On the second day, the installers called me at work to ask which side of the sliding doors was the "front side". I had to call the owner to ask him to reach out to installers to figure this out!



Overall, I have had a terrible experience with this company. I would recommend not using their services if your sanity is important to you!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE! Granted, the doors are beautiful, but find another supplier! I ordered my doors in October 2010, did not receive them until March 2011 (even though I was assured that the doors would be delivered within 3 months of purchase) and am currently involved in a dispute to receive a refund of the amount I had to spend on a specialty contractor to install the doors after the company failed to do so. Solo Porte is impossible to get a hold of, the management is rude, and the customer service representatives are totally lacking in any customer service skills. PLEASE SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!
