Andy and his team were simply AMAZING and we have been raving about his work ever since they finished – so this review is overdue! Andy obviously takes great pride in his workmanship and it shows. He worked closely with us to understand what we wanted, and was hands on in the work, ensuring the quality of everything they do is up to the highest standards. His team was consistently professional, punctual, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves. Andy was open, honest, and able to trouble shoot unexpected items without it costing us more money. He finished the work on time and for the same amount originally quoted. Andy’s work exceeded our expectations and he even started hours early to hand carve a beautiful oak transition molding for our pocket door. We are so very happy with the work that he has done for us. We plan to hire him again for future projects and highly recommend NY Home Improvement Services.

We first heard about Andy, owner and contractor for NY Home Improvement Services, from my sister. He did a remarkable job installing a new kitchen, stairway with excellent plumbing and electrical work for her. It looked great. From my own experience I can tell you he is the guy for any job. Andy helped to renovate and modernized my home with a new kitchen, porch and sound proof floorings. He is very professional and has great insights and vision. The quality of his work can be seen through his workmanship. Andy is a guy you can depend on. He’s always on the job, reliable and most amazingly his price for the professional work is remarkable. He truly listened to my desires and made sure to explain all possible options to achieve the best outcome. I have been through a lot of contractors, but he is the BEST and my contractor for life. I truly will recommend him to anyone.

I'm writing this review for the job that was done 8 months ago. It's easy to get exited about newly done bathroom, but how well would it hold down the road?

I've lived in my "new construction " town house for about 12 years and recently noticed grouts falling out from between the tiles......After few attempts of sealing it myself I started calling contractors. Andy's people picked up phone immediately, spoke professionally and showed up promptly.

I did not do full bath remodeling, just needed to fix tiles around the bathtub. From removing debris to layering foundation to waterproofing and, finally, to cleaning the work place , Andy's work was thorough, done skillfully and with great precision. It was obvious, he knew what he was doing and took pride in his work. Today it is as solid as it was on the first day, beautiful, even, no cracks....

Without a doubt I recommend Andy to anyone in need of a quality work. This was the best and most memorable experience of having people doing work in my house.

We can not say enough how highly we regard Andy and his staff at NY Home Improvement Services. We needed our ground floor, kitchen, living room and other things (complete bathroom move) completed after buying our home. We received numerous quotes and met with different contractors but none of them compared to Andy. From the moment we met him, we took a liking to him. We were NOT disappointed at ALL! Not only did he do an AMAZING job, but he was friendly, affordable and courteous. I am a "make a list and write every thing down" person and he worked with me through the many lists I created! Andy helped with many issues that came up from fitting things in our small kitchen to making sure I had sufficient rooms for my children and office to cleaning everything up when he was completed. Andy did a great job and went above and beyond his duty. He was helpful, respectful and always kind. We referred him to our entire family. We made a great choice when choosing NY Home Improvement Services.

Andy was a great person to deal with. His initial consultation was very thorough and complete to detail . Within a few days he had a proposal ready detailing what was to be done in my home (complete gut renovation). His quote was reasonable. After shopping around, I ended up hiring Andy for the job. He stuck to his word, everything was completed in a timely fashion. Andy and his workers respected my home and were always on time, working mon-fri. When the job was done, Andy returned on two separate occasions to fix/adjust certain things to ensure that everything meet my expectations. Will hire him again for future jobs.

I found NY Home Improvements (Andy) last spring and called him to do some outdoor work and small repairs to a wall in my newly remodeled hall that was done by a prior contractor. I was very impressed with Andys work as he was very meticulous and neat as well as courteous and reliable. I called him back for additional work two weeks ago which included building a soffit in my basement family room to cover some pipes as well as repair Aluminum siding on my backyard wall Once again Andy did a great job. The soffit was done so beautifully and I am very happy with all his work and will continue to use Andy. I already have him set up to redo my basement bathroom come spring! Do not hesiate in calling Andy. He is wonderful to work with!! Highly recommenedd!!

We desired to add outdoor tiles to our patio, however, we were unsure what tile or design would be best. Due to all the great reviews, we contacted NY Home Improvement Services and we are so glad we did. We spoke with Andy and we were amazed at how quickly he was able to come by to look at the job. Andy at NY Home Improvement remodeled our bathroom from top to bottom and did a truly wonderful job. He raised our drop ceiling, installed new floor and wall tiles, a new bathtub, a fan, and light and towel fixtures. And in the process, he rebuilt the structure of our walls so that they will last years and years. His work is extremely thorough and professional. He showed up on time, worked hard through the day, and came in exactly at his estimate. If you need remodeling done, hire him. You won't be disappointed.
