        My practice sees ADULTS, TEENS and CHILDREN, and offers FREE CONSULTATIONS: I have treated more than 6000 persons with crooked teeth and bad bites. Many of them were complicated by size and/or positional changes of the jaw bones which required intervention with orthopedic devices and/or surgery...I have always focused my practice on using devices that are the least intrusive cosmetically. Consequently, in recent years I have been keen on providing Invisalign, and have devoted much of my continuing education to honing my expertise in this area of competence. Finally, as the inventor of Orthodontic Jaw Wirining for weight control I am known world-wide, having provided the service for the past 15 years.

        Dr. Ted is an excellent orthodontist, he is skillful in his craft, and having my children under his care and extremely satisfied with the results, I'm proud to say as having completed my orthodontic journey, I'm loving my new smile. His staff is always friendly and helpful

        DR. TED ROTHSTEIN RESPONDS TO SNARKY REVIEW

        Thirty-six years practicing orthodontics in Brooklyn Heights, and having treated more than 6000 patients without a single bad review, until now, is a fairly good indication that the snarky review I received on this site is suspect--to say the least. Reviews that truly reflect who I am and the way my staff on I treat my patients have been compiled and can be read on Yelp.com or Angieslist.com or directly on my site at www.drted.com (see YELP-REVIEWS and ANGIESLIST-REVIEWS). I did not stumble upon this review, which was first posted on 09/20/11, and then updated 01/20/12. The malicious intentions of the writer are evident, and intended to jolt the recipient of the bad review into a fit of anxiety and concern. Indeed, just two days after this review was “updated” I was contacted by a “reputation management” company who took less than 20 seconds to locate this review on my behalf. When I inquired about the cost of their service I was told the fee was $700 for the initial payment and then $700/month to keep the review “suppressed or buried.”

In summary, as the reviewer well notes, I am “a skillful orthodontist” and the people who assist are “the greatest! The reviewer went to absurd lengths to paint a bilious caricature of me that is untrue. I love my profession, and care deeply about my patients.
