Brooklyn Dance Project, located in the heart of Park Slope, providing high quality classes taught by professional teachers and performers.
We have taught all over the world and have had the chance to be in movies, on TV and in many Broadway shows and are excited and enthusiastic to pass on our knowledge to all those motivated to learn. We believe in teaching the proper dance technique from the beginning, whether your dream is to become a professional dancer or you simply just want to dance for fun. We believe in correcting, not criticizing our students from the beginning so good habits are learned. All of our classes are educational and at the same time always fun and energetic.
We provide many styles of dance as well as Yoga and a wonderful Summer Camp including dance, voice, and musical theater.

This is my daughter's second year there after attending another dance school in Windsor Terrace. BDP is leaps and bounds ahead in teaching advances techniques, and my daughter loves her instructors. For the first time, she s considering taking a class during the summer - amazing!

Finally a neighborhood school with the quality classes of a big city school. My 14 year old has been dancing for years and has been looking for a new school that would help her get to a higher level without having to go all the way in Manhattan, she started taking classes there and she has been thrilled by the the knowledge the teachers have and her technique and performance level have already improved after just a few months. I am so impressed by this school and I highly recommend it to anyone!! By the way it is also very affordable and that is a great thing when the children want to take many classes a week! isabella
