I really enjoy this home cooking style fried chicken. First, the breading is very light with church on the edges. Remember, a heavy batter is to disguise the lack of taste in most chicken joints. But this place uses good chicken so it has a good flavor and good seasoning, not too overpowering where you can't taste the food. Also, it's not too greasy, that's a plus, yes, it will have grease, but it doesn't slide down your fingers like the others. The only thing I wish they have, is bigger portion for their sides. I usually ordered the marconi salad, mashed with gravy, and the "SWEET POTATO FRIES". I don't know what they put into these babies, but they are addictive, I couldn't stop eating these, even when the grease is soaking though the paper bag, something I abhor. Kudos for them, for their good old fashion service, something you haven't seen in N.Y.C. in a while. The price is cheaper than KFC and 10 times cleaner, also their bathroom doesn't smell nor wet all over the floor. I don't understand why people flock to KFC, everything is process, and their service is rude. For a change, try this place if you like real food.
Buffalo Wild Wings has really tasty boneless wings and a variety of awesome sauces. Indeed, we could use the word "awesomesauce" to unironically describe the sauce. I have been to this location four times now, and my experience has always been consistent. The team members are friendly, they take your order, answer your questions, then leave you alone. The food comes out in less than 10 minutes. The bar area sees a brisk business during weekday lunches and in the evenings. However most of the time the rest of the dining floor is not at capacity. I once had a mistake in my order. I got a salad with cheese on top of it, even though I asked that there be no dairy, stating that I have a dairy allergy. When I pointed out the error it was no big deal, and I got a second plate, correctly prepared, within a reasonable amount of time. My kids think this is the best restaurant ever. They call it The Chicken Nuggets Restaurant. It isn't luxurious but I do love that we can all consistently find something to eat there without a fight, fuss, or headache.
This restaurant/cafe was not only beautiful on the inside but the food was amazing. Wow has really gourmet salads and wraps that are not boring, burgers are really juicy. Brunch is served all day long and is far better than any other place that we have been to on Williamsburg. There is Wi-Fi access so we were able to use our laptops. All of the dishes are organic. We got to go downstairs to see the lounge that will open up this Friday! Can't wait for that! They played great music, changing the music as the night went on. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We really had a great time and will be back very soon.
