        Overall

        Beware the general manager, Ralph Shorter and front desk manager, Josie Forde, are thieves! We stayed here the night before leaving on vacation to celebrate my daughter's 21st bday. While we were at the airport the next morning, my daughter noticed she had forgotten her watch. Good news is they retrieved the watch for us, which I was very grateful. They told me the watch would be locked up in the manager’s office until we returned from vacation the following week. However, when we went to pick it up, we were told the office was locked and there was no one on-site with a key to open the door. After explaining we lived 2 hours away, they offered to return the watch via mail. I reported this to Choice Hotels Corporate Guest Relations and had a representative call the hotel and was told that the watch had been mailed via UPS. As of today, I still haven't received the watch and they refuse to return my calls! I've now turned it over to the local police department for investigation.
