        Established in 1960, Holy Transfiguration Monastery is under the jurisdiction of the Holy Orthodox Church in North America (HOCNA). Based in Brookline, Mass., the monastery has several convents under the spiritual direction, such as The Holy Nativity Convent in Boston, The Hermitage of St Mary Magdalene, The Convent of the Meeting of the Lord and The Convent of the Annunciation, to name a few.
