My sister reserved a suite for us at the Holiday Inn in Brookline a month prior to my bachelorette party. Upon arriving to the hotel we were informed that our room was "not available." We were not late to check in but the computer system purposely overbooks and if you are later than the other party, you don't get the room you asked for. Also, the key card did not work and the phone did not work. We went down to the breakfast ten minutes before it ended and were told it had ended and the night staff was very rude when we asked to send up linens. The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable but the staff was not helpful at all. They kept repeating standard answers to us regarding our problems and did not make much of an effort to fix them. We were not offered any sort of compensation or discount for the issues. I would not recommend this hotel due to the customer service, but if you do go there, don't bother making a reservation unless you intend to be there an hour before check in.
