Powder River Historical Museum
"The museum is full of the most interesting and thought provoking objects. For anyone seeking an insight into the real life of the people of the West they could do no better than to visit this museum in this fairly remote town in Montana. I say remote, because to someone from England it is remote but to an American it is probably just down the road from Miles City. When we visited we were welcomed by friendly people who went out of their way to show us round and look up reference material from their archives. This sort of museum, Broadus being one of several we encountered on our journey through the states of Montana and Wyoming, are the repository of a fantastic collection of artefacts and knowledge about a time in all our histories which is so important. they hold items that give proof to the real stories and people that shaped the land. My partner and I were over-welmed by the quantity of exhibits, but did our best to absorb all we could in the time we had there, which was barely one afternoon. We hope one day to visit again. In the meantime we wish the museum well and hope others will find it as worthwhile a trip as we did. It is a privilege to be the first to review this museum. If Lee Hubbard reads this - Hello Lee, could you please send an alternative email address as I can't seem to get through to your or the museum on the current one at :'email@example.com ' Best wishes to all at the museum, Andy Gammon"
