Just Cruisin' Plus has its roots in the basement of a modest home in suburban suburban Nashville TN, in 1981. Started as an outbound tour operator that sent over three thousand people to the 1982 World's Fair and evolved into the first cruise-only agency in the state of Tennessee. We opened as Just Cruisin' on January 4, 1988, a day made notable by an 8" snowstorm, being a guest on a local talk show for a seven minute segment that stretched into over a half hour because the other guests didn't show. Growth was steady and rapid leading to being named Carnival Cruise Line's "Agency of the Year" for 1990, far faster than any agency before or since. We became a full-service travel agency in 1991, changing the business name to Just Cruisin' Plus to indicate the added offerings of tours, land vacations, and other types of vacations. Just Cruisin' Plus has received national marketing, sales, and customer service awards from our suppliers, travel industry publications, other organizations. The owners, Sherrie and Charlie Funk, were named "Travel Agents of the Year" out of all the agents in North America by readers of "Travel Trade", a respected newspaper of the travel industry. Just Cruisin' Plus offers products from every major cruise line, tour operator, shore excursion provider, and resort in every part of the world.
