I had never used a Rental Locator before but when I was told that the house I'd been renting was going up for sale in 2 weeks, I got online and saw the ad for Pauly Presley. I called knowing nothing about them, and I have been very pleased from the beginning on all counts. First, the office on E. 6th Street is easy to get to, there is on-street parking and no meters, and the space is light, spacious and professional. And there's a coffee shop 2 doors down. I have worked with Kendall Bingham and she has been a delight. She was "on it" from my first call. Within 24 hrs after that call I was being shown several apts in my price range. Kendall always gets all the information you will need to make your decisions: admin fees, deposits and holding costs, move-in costs, and will itemize your monthly costs, so you know exactly what you will be paying. And you will walk away with a folder with all the necessary paperwork on the places you have seen. She is aware of what places are offering "specials" which can sometimes be the determining factor of what place you decide to go with. I was undecided about whether to go with apartments or a shared housing situation and so I went back to one place on my own and looked around again. She called me the next day to see if I needed any help and if I'd made a decision. Because the urgency around my moving had decreased some, I remained undecided between apt or shared housing. I felt sure Kendall would stop calling me. But she has stayed in touch and found yet another apt. situtation that is possible. She clocked the time it took from her office to the complex and calculated the time it would take to my work place and compared and contrasted different routes to get there. I needed this kind of detail to help me make a decision. Kendall understands what's involved in a rental situation and knows the market and what's available in what price ranges. I have been extremely satisfied with my experience with both Pauly Presley and with Kendall Bingham in particular. I can highly recommend their services.
We worked with Kathy Chappell from Pacesetter Properties when we moved from NJ to Austin. We had one week to find our home; this was our first visit to Austin and we were first time home buyers so the task for finding us a home was not an easy one. On top of that, we did not have a set budget thus making Kathy pull out listings in various price ranges. Kathy was amazingly helpful. She made us feel at ease and apart from our property visits to buy a home she also introduced us to different parts of Austin (including our favorite restaurant Chuy's). She guided us through the process and with in a week we found our home. We could not have done this without Kathy's expertise and knowledge.
We recently used Chesney to sell out condo that he sold us 4 years ago. We joke that I could not have afforded the University of Texas if it was not for him. Right from the get go I knew he was trust worthy and had my best interest at heart. My wife wanted to buy a larger (more expensive) condo but Chesney shot us straight about the chances our daughter would wind up living there. We purchased a smaller one bedroom - Chesney kept it leased for us all 4 years and we made a tidy profit on the sale. All around - I cannot imagine it going any smoother than it did.
