We have always enjoyed eating at the Lone Star Steakhouse in Branson, Missouri! However, on 2 different occasions, we have gone to this restaurant after attending a show in town. It seemed to us that the young staff were more interested in getting off for the evening than taking care of our needs. For example, the hostess waited almost 30 seconds before looking up from "whatever she was doing" before even acknowledging our presence - even though we were the only customers in the room at the time, and we were standing directly in front of her. Then, the waitress seemed almost "bothered" by our presence and brought out salads to us minus the tomatoes! We felt like we should order something that would not take much time to prepare. So... that is exactly what we did! We tried to eat and leave as quickly as possible! Perhaps this restaurant should lock the door earlier if they do not want late night visitors!! On the other hand, we have eaten at this restaurant when it was extremely busy, and we received excellent service and food! We understand that everyone is tired later in the evening, but Branson is a tourist town, and visitors should be welcomed as long as the restaurant is still open!

My friends eat at their Austin Tx. location..so..they spot it while shopping at the Landing. We call and talk to Stacey about reservations, she is very helpfuf, anyway we go on Friday 10/23 and have Eric wait on us,he is great as he knows wine and he gives us one awsome tour of the menu...very professional.I have the sea bass it is great!!! My friends have the N.Y.Strip and the Cajun ribeye both come as ordered.Eric recomends the sweet potato casserole,it rocks.Finish our night in the bar with a Knockout martini with some live jazz music. All in all I have to admit this place is now my favorite restaurant as it gives branson an idenity we havn't had until now.
Great steak and great service for me and my wife while we were in branson for our anniversary. Had the 12oz ribeye, skewer of shrimp, loaded potatoe, kinda pricey would be my only complaint, but we got a lot of extras and anywhere in branson is high. Hard to find a place where food and service are both good but we found it, thanks bt's for a great anniversary lunch!
