I visited Chicago and went to this Restaurant. Being born in Miami and with Cuban parents, when I saw the name Habana Libre I wanted to eat thier & see what they served. I was surprised to find excellent Cuban Food at this place. Very Authentic, the chef is Cuban and actually came out to greet us and ask how the food was. Clean, nice atmosphere and a great place to enjoy a nice meal with your family. Definately will visit again.

This restaurant while may be just a little "hole in the wall" is wonderful the food is authentic "Puertorican" food the green plantain fritters "alcapurias" are wonderful and so flavorful and the potato fritters "rellenos de papa" arent far behind! their Jibarito sandwich is just mouthwatering.
This was the best place to eat for Puerto Rican food. A little small and the service is kind of slow, but only due to the fact that they are so busy from the unexpected business. The authenticity is so unique and the food just melts in your mouth. Just absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!!
