While visiting Boston for a conference at the Boston World Trade Center - and after researching the local microbrewery scene - I found that Harpoon Brewery was located within walking distance from both the conference and my hotel (Seaport Hotel, across from the WTC). I had a little time on my hands after flying in from Los Angeles, so I walked over to Harpoon just in time for their 4PM tasting. The beer here is amazing, as are the people who make and serve it. Our "beer guide" was Corey, who served up generous portions of tasty beer along with a healthy dose of local stories and beer lore. Start with the Harpoon Ale - not just an "average" mass-produced ale, but a golden beauty with a lot of flavor. Their "UFO" line of unfiltered beers includes a classic hefe, the "White" which is a spiced hefe (think coriander and citrus) and a Raspberry hefe, which is worthy of at least a taste if you're afraid to commit to a whole bottle. This is not a fruit-flavored beer but rather a delicately-balanced brew of hefe and natural raspberry. A series of IPAs round out the selection and include the Harpoon IPA - made more in the English style with a mild yet persistent hoppiness - a Belgian IPA hybrid with clove-like essences - and that big, bad Imperial IPA that puts some of the West Coast Double IPAs to the test. Harpoon also offers a tasty Munich Dark and a nice cider as well. Really worth a visit if you are an advocate of good beer!

Exquisite! I recommend the lunches. Their brunch is surpassed by none! I enjoy the ambience and although it is a small dining room, that only makes it more exclusive. Their pate is the best ever. They know how to cook eggs too. Believe me many brunch places do not. We come here a lot and shop the incredible Antique Shops along Charles Street. My brother lives on Beacon Hill and also loves this bistro. My mother and I have purchased so many gorgeous antiques and chandeliers from the nearby antique shops. Always a worldly experience on quaint Beacon Hill, the best neighborhood in all of Boston! You will love the service here and parking is not too bad, believe it or not. I do recommend the chcken (dinner menu) I had it a few months ago, their menu can change, so make sure you check it all out online first. Bonne Nuit!
Absolute perfection! I love French cuisine. I have been to Paris and the south of France (Riviera destinations) also several times in my life already and know what to look for, and have experienced the finest there is. I love this restaurant so much! From escargots to any of their amazing authentic entrees I am in Heaven! I have tried just about every one of their dishes over the years and have recommended it to my friends. The staff and waiters are all elegant and know their stuff. They are all polite and the service is 5 Star!.My mother is from France and agrees that this is Crème de la crème! Enjoy!
