This place is SKETCHY and the customer service is terrible. Please take your time and money elsewhere
Got a deal on living social for this place, waste of money, no change at all.
Immediate pressure to purchase more services before first treatment.
Attempts to contact the office and discuss this were ignored.
Am an experienced consumer of cosmetic "enhancements" ...

I would highly recommend this place to REMOVE spider veins. I was hesitant to buy a package because all the reviews were mostly negative, but I decided to give them a try because I got a deal from living social or groupon (can't remember which one). Anyway, I was very impressed because Sergio and the assistant was very nice. The assistant held my hand during the whole procedure and made sure I was OK. My spider veins are almost gone and I can't wait for my legs to be spider vein free!!!

I would highly NOT RECOMMEND this place!! They are manupilative and rude. The owner is cunningly smart to sell the package and very persuasive. They said they have a new machine to get rid of the white hair. Ironically, their treatment and machine don't even work on the the dark hair. I wasted my time and money. ""DO NOT WASTE YOURS, PLEASE!!""
I found this place on google and so glad I did!! Very impressed with this medspa! very clean facility and a very professional staff. My technician Nova, is a real sweetheart! The director during my consult went over the whole procedure in detail and showed me how everything works. Went for my first treatment last night and they made me feel very comfortable and at ease! Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend them!
So happy that I found this Laser Center!!! I had my under arms and bikini done. Results are amazing and my hair is gone!! Nova one of the Laser specialist is incredible, knowledgeable and very friendly. By the 3th treatment I stopped shaving. Highly recommended!

I decided to take the plunge and get laser on my bikini line and underarms. I am so glad I did. I am going to my sixth and final treatment soon, and the results are phenomenal. The staff is so pleasant- they take really good care of you. I bought another package to take care of my legs. I cannot tell you enough good things about this place. I never expected such good results or to feel as comfortable as I do when I am treated.

The best experience!\r I had laser hair removal on my face: upper lip, chin, and ""sideburns."" Needless to say, I was VERY nervous about starting the treatment process. I had been struggling with unsightly facial hair (a lot of it!) for some time and was finally willing to try laser hair. I was really nervous about the process (spefically, about the time in between treatments when you can't wax or tweeze!) I was a bit horrified at the thought of having to shave the area! But, I decided to go for it and it is the BEST decision I ever made. The results have been fantastic and has changed my life! It took 6 treatments (but, my hair was very coarse and a lot of it. \r There are a lot of places that offer laser hair removal, but if you want the best service, best results, and from clinicians who really know what they are doing, then go to Skin Spalinic. It is worth it. Very happy with the results!\r

Unfortunately I got what I paid for too. I was sold a package of 6 treatments and assured it would work to remove all hair. I saw no difference after the first couple treatments but the aesthetician kept telling me that i was ""for sure going to see a big difference after this one""... well, 6 treatments came to an end and still no remarkable difference. So, I was given an only chance of purchasing another 6 treatment package with no guarantee that it would work. This was clearly very upsetting but I booked an appointment while I thought about it. The day before my scheduled appointment to being the second round of treatments, an emergency came up at my work and I had to cancel my appointment. The person who I talked to on the phone at Skin Spa Clinic DID NOT mention that by canceling the appointment I would incur in a $100 fee!! (why would they? Free money for them!). When I called back to protest about this, they never answered the phone. I left voice messages asking them to please call me back. They never did. So I changed my strategy: I left a voicemail saying I wanted to reschedule my appointment. Voila! I got three calls back within the following 24 hours. The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful and said he could not help me at all unless I scheduled a new appointment. Ladies - piece of advice: pay a little more and have a more positive experience. I hope this helps.

I went to the skin spa clinic for laser hair removal because it was the least expensive place I could find in Boston. When I first walked in, I thought: The place is not filthy, but it definitely doesn't look clean. When I first met the manager, I thought: He is extremely aggressive and creepy, but don't worry because he is not the aesthetician. During my consultation I felt very pressured to buy a package (which I resisted) and felt that the manager was really trying to make a ""sale"" at any cost. I could tell he was exaggerating and feeding me lines...he also said that I would only work with one aesthetician throughout the entire 6 visit process and that I would use the Soprano XL for all my treatments. After researching the Soprano XL, I decided to try it - this machine seems pretty idiot-proof. My first visit was completely painless. I couldn't even feel the laser and the aesthetician was completely professional...however, none of my hair fell out. (After you get a laser treatment, your hair is supposed to fall out.) I decided to go back a second time and give it another try. During this visit, I had a different aesthetician and it felt a little bit hot, but still completely fine and I was happy when some hair seemed to fall out. I ended up referring a friend and was given a free visit, so I went back a third time. Third visit was ok, but I had another different aesthetician and the place was beginning to creep me out a little bit - I ended up getting charged and they said my fourth visit would be free. I decided that after this free visit I was going to check out different medspas because i didn't want to go back to this place. During my fourth visit (the free one), I was again set up with another different aesthetician and while I was completely undressed, the woman came in and said that she would be using a different machine and this one would hurt quite a bit. She said that the Soprano XL was being serviced so she was using a back up machine. I felt uncomfortable about using a new machine without doing any research so I got dressed and asked if i could talk to the manager. He came in and told me that every fourth visit you benefit from switching machines. I asked why the aesthetician said the machine was broken when this was just protocol and the manager got very aggressive and accused me of calling him a liar. I was able to calm him down a little bit and tried to just get the name of the machine so i could look it up on my i-phone and he didn't even know the name of the machine and then admitted the Soprano XL was broken. At this point, he had already raised his voice at me and made me really uncomfortable, so I left in complete shock and decided that i did not want my free laser treatment anymore. About 30 minutes later the manager called to apologize, but I decided that i would rather work with someone a little more stable, mellow and straight-forward so i passed on the free session. I also never saw credentials of any of the aestheticians, which made me nervous... \r \r The bottom line is that this place is not a luxurious spa, the costumer service is not good and the staff will tell you what they think you want to hear regardless of the truth. I am sure that if i completed all of my treatments, it would have worked just as well as any other place in Boston, but I would rather not risk working with someone who is willing to cut corners in order to make money. \r

This is a place that it is going to get you done. It is not intimate or pampering type of place. And I like that about it. Get in, get out, and get on with your day. They specialized in laser hair removal. They have 4 different technologies in house. The best I like is the Soprano-XL which is their ""Super Hair Removal"" (SHR). The staff is friendly and very experience. Their prices are excellent considererinf where they are located. They do book ahead. They treatment me like a first time customer everytime and I've gone to them for the past year. \r \r

I have had a bad experience with laser hair removal before, which scarred my skin, and was apprehensive about trying it again, but thankfully I found this MedSpa. Their staff is so knowledgeable in their field and makes your entire experience very pleasant. I usually see the nurse Lenore or Kerry, they are wonderful, patient and so friendly. My results with laser hair removal have been absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the market for Hair removal. You can't go wrong by choosing them. My wife just completed their Zerona LipoLaser and got excellent results. She lost abount 9 inched from her middle section. She has not stopped talking about it. Very satisfied.

I really made the right choice coming to this MedSpa. I recommend this place to anyone looking for fast results. I experienced a reduction of 50% on my legs just after my second treatment. They use the Soprano XL. It never happened before in any of the places I've gone in Newbury st. Excellent results.
Absolutely, under no circumstances should you ever go to this place! I got roped in with their cheaper prices, but don't make my mistake! The first (and only time) I went there, I asked for and paid for one treatment. I made it clear that I did not want to buy any packages. That same day, they made another appointment for me. Little did I realize that there was a $100 charge for canceling an appointment! Then, after only having one treatment done, they started charging me for a package deal that I never verbally agreed to or signed any contract for. They refused to reverse the charges on my credit card, and I had to file a dispute through my credit card company (and change my credit card # because they tried to keep charging me). It was a huge pain, and so unnecessary. The owner is completely unreasonable and argumentative, and only cares about taking your money. He threatened to sue me for not paying for a package I never agreed to! Like I said, don't make my mistake; stay far far away! If I could, I would rate this place -8 stars.

Skin SpaClinic, located on Newbury St, in Boston, is well known for its superior PhotoFacial treatments. Their PhotoFacial treatments use a combination of 2 different energies, laser and radio frequency (IPL), which enables successful and painless treatments for people with all types of skins. I received a series of 6 treatments and I look and feel 10 years younger. Everyone I know ask him about my new look. Very satisfied customer.

This Medspa offered me laser packages for hair removal that fit my budget. They're very professional and they really care about the results of your treatments. They took their time explaining the process. This is the only Medspa that I know that has a calling center 24-7 that you can call if you have any questions. The head aesthetician sits with you before every appointment to make sure that things are going the way you expected. I'd really recommend anyone to give them a try. Their prices are great and they treat you as a family member. I've been going to them for the past two years.\r \r

I don?t know what happened to them. They used to be decent, but now there are hardly mediocre. The level of service has gone down drastically. I stopped going there several weeks ago and don?t plan on returning.

Visiting the Skin SpaClinic has left a bad after taste in my mouth. The staff has not been polite to me and I just did not feel right to be there afterwards. I?m not going there again, that?s all I have to say.

I haven?t really noticed any results and I?ve already been going for 8 weeks. The hair removal ?specialist? is rude too. He won?t give me a clear answer as to why the hairs are not disappearing and makes me feel really bad for asking. The past visit was my last.\r \r \r \r \r \r
