Please, DO NOT use this company for travel. We came across a driver who took us WAY out of the way and literally stopped the cab, turned off the meter and got out of the car to fight me, just because I said "Where are you taking us because our hotel is on this same street.". I didn't get in his face but I did take a picture of his cab and walk away. Later, I called their office to speak to a supervisor and they actually backed the driver saying "Maybe you shouldn't have called him out on it.". In fact, the supervisor sounded just as bad as the driver in the end. My life is very public and if you look me up, Cory Williams, you'll see I'm a very positive guy but when bad things like this happen, I can't hide it. This was the worst cab experience I've ever had and I've had a lot. Please, avoid this company for your own safety. There are good cab companies out there but this is definitely not one of them.
I called a cab from these folks and the dispatcher claimed the cab would arrive in 10-15 minutes. About a half hour later, still no cab. I called again, a different dispatcher said the driver claimed they would arrive in 5-7 minutes. After finding an alternative means of transportation and getting to the destination, I received a call from dispatch. The call was received 45 minutes later. If you can't deliver don't say you can. Don't give an approximate arrival time if it is going to be completely inaccurate. You do your company and your industry a disservice. I would never call this company again.

this is the most worst cab service ever!!!! I always call an hour ahead of time and they still constantly make me late for work. when ya call back too see what's going on they tell u its been sent and hang up on you!! the service sucks, their carries are rude, and they overall cannot run a cab service.
I often use this company when parking near BMC and going to the airport. They are very polite on the phone and are always accommodating to our needs
I have taken this cab company 4-5 times and I'm not sure why I didn't stop after the first. Maybe I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. The drivers are very un-friendly and always find a way to take the long way to your destination. I do not believe ITO hired a drunk to drive people around , his name is lon he was fired from the great Boston taxi for drinking while driving and also stealing and over charching customers, even if you are in need of drivers you do not put peoples life in danger, i hope ITO make the right call , before someone get hurt .
love them on time always! always go with the best

The people working for this company are extremely rude and have no compassion for people who aren't familiar with the Boston area. Don't even try to ask a question outside of "how much do I owe you" because they will just treat you like you are stupid. I won't recommend them to anyone based on principle that human beings should be decent to each other.

Once it was on time, but the next time it never showed up! Will never call them again! When I called to complain, they told me the taxi was on the way, but no show!
I called 3 times in one hour. I spoke to the same dispatcher each time, and she recalled the cab twice and the cab NEVER showed up. I will never use them again.
I called the night before to pick me up at 4:45am to go to the airport and had a driver waiting. Very satisfied knowing that i had to catch a flight and my ride was there at early morning hours

I just had the worst experience. Around Fifty people were waiting for cabs at the airport and the airport taxi conductor instructed me to share a cab with another person headed to Boston. I had asked where the other person was going, and he told me it did not matter because of the few number of cabs.\r \r I was in the cab and we were out of the airport when the cab driver became hostile after I told him where I lived. He threatened to kick me out of the cab onto the highway. I was shocked. I told him that I would tell his supervisor about the inappropriate threat. He then pulled out of the highway, and kicked me out on the street. Told me to get out near a construction site in the middle of the road.\r \r I had luggage and no way of catching another cab in sight on an early cold morning. As a woman, I would not trust the Independent Taxi company ever again. I had to walk with the two luggages to the nearest bus stop since he rudely did not even leave me close to the Train.\r \r The Independent taxi driver took his anger that should have been towards the airport conductor for placing me in a cab with someone headed in another direction. In reality, I was not that far - driving distance wise from where the other passenger was going. I think that taxi driver did not want to get stuck in rush hour traffic near my home after he would drop me off. His choice was to be hostile and kick me out. People looking for a reliable taxi service that will have your safety in mind should stay away from this one from fear of getting #1233 cab driver permit number. I called his company and I wonder if this was the first time or one of many that this taxi driver was hostile towards a passenger. As a women in the early morning after receiving a threat of being thrown out on the highway - I did not feel safe with him.\r
