PLEASE READ THIS before considering this company. They are dishonest and a sloppy company and we have had a very unpleasant experience using them. Aviv had our stuff for removal, storage (in Waltham) and delivery so they were responsible the whole time. Amongst our things we left a locked fireproof box because it was too heavy for us to take for the summer. When our stuff was delivered they did not bring back the box, when I asked for it some days later they refused to accept it had not been delivered and did not respond to my calls or emails. We queried the bill with the credit card company and the box suddenly appeared without explanation. When we got it it had been obviously deliberately broken into, our things messed up and items stolen. The police are investigating this as a criminal case and have said that their security is very poor, it is either that someone walked in to the storage or it was someone working for the company. They have never contacted us to offer apologies, compensation or even just support. If you care about your things NEVER USE THIS COMPANY they are dishonest, sloppy and completely uncaring. I am suing them, they should not be able to get away with allowing people's belongings to be deliberately broken and stolen.

I was VERY pleased with the crew that did my move from Brinton to Berkeley. They arrived on time, took beautiful care with all my belongings, wrapped everything that needed wrapping, sealed boxes, and moved in a quick and efficient manner.
Everything went beautifully as well at my new home. Aviv Moving and Storage was great, and I would defiantly use them again, and recommend them to everyone I know.

These guys are so great to work with. Hassle and stress free, no unnecessary back and forth. Call, get a quote, set up the moving day/time, get a confirmation call the day before, and voila!
Neil, Cesar, Omar showed up on time and got straight to work. Not only that, they were very nice and friendly (I dont know that'd I'd be the same way if i was moving couches/piano/etc.). They made sure to ask a lot of questions up front while packing up to ensure it was done properly, then did the same on the flip side to ensure they unloaded everything to the most convenient spot for us.
Remember to offer them something to drink - it's a lot of hours to be moving and sweating...they'll appreciate the refreshment.
I'd absolutely recommend calling Aviv Movers and Storage, and see if you can get Neil, Cesar, Omar !

We used Aviv Moving and Storage to move my boyfriend's furniture into my place and they were spot on awesome. I noticed in some other reviews people talked about how cool the guys were, I agree. We chatted with them about miscellaneous stuff and they even took a moment to point and laugh at my burningman bike, you know, like all of my friends do when they came over. Anyway, they were quick, efficient and did a great job of wrapping all of the large items in plastic and making sure nothing was damaged.
They even went above and beyond and helped a friend of mine lash some of my furniture onto his roof and loaned him some of their moving rope. They were almost exactly to the minute in their estimate of the time it would take and were friendly, they each stopped and petted my cat at various times. I would highly recommend their services. -

Aviv Moving and storage are by far the most easy people to deal with. they are responsive and polite. Movers are careful professional and very efficient. I had 3 movers for moving one bedroom apartment and the job they did was fantastic. No damages no issues. I am happy that for a first time I had a good experience moving. The crew leader of the team Sherif was very careful and professional, he is really proud of what he does. Thank you guys.
For a local move within MA you should give them a call.

We took services of Aviv Moving and Storage on a recommendation of a friend. Three friendly guys were strong. There lifted our heavy boxes which were full of books and records, and they were cheerfully taking two or three at a time without any frown on their faces .They showed up on time, and were very careful with my items and they helped me unwrap my boxes, placed furniture in place, etc. They were very careful about the floors, and walls and turned the move stress free. They made moving pretty painless. My only concern was that they somewhat did not accept payment through card and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which took away my precious time other than that the moving experience was good and we had no complaints.

We were recommended Aviv Moving and Storage by a fellow colleague and I wanted to add this positive note on for Aviv Moving and Storage. On the moving day the movers helped us in moving out 27 boxes just a few blocks away .They were on time for the pick-up, delivered the boxes on schedule and nothing was lost or broken...and the price was just reasonable. Honest to goodness, hard working dudes, who worked their tails off for several hours to make our move go smoothly. Keep up the good work Aviv Moving and Storage . I shall recommend them to all.

I used Aviv Moving and storage when moving out Boston a year ago and they were absolutely great. It was hands down the best moving experience I have ever had. The movers arrived on time and were very efficient. I especially appreciated that they handled my furniture with care. I have recently used Aviv Moving and storage for the second time and continue to be impressed with their professional and reliable service. I have a lot of fragile objects including a harp and a piano and white glove took superior care in ensuring that my instruments and fragile items were transported without as much as a scratch. I hope I will be settled in my new home for a while but will definitely refer my friends and family to Aviv Moving and storage. They really help to take the stress out of moving, Roger and his team are reliable professional and friendly. A pleasure to work with.

I haven't moved in fifteen years so I was reluctant to schlep our belongings down a flight of stair for our move. I called a half dozen movers and four of them returned my call. I spoke with Moti about a month before move in and he gave me a rough estimate over the phone of about $600.00 dollars for about 50 to 60 boxes and the normal one bedroom accessories i.e; entertainment center kitchen and garage. I underestimated the amount we have, which was about 120 boxes, and it doubled the price, I was OK with that because Moti gave me an hourly quote of $180.00 an hour for three men. Mike, Eddie and Moron showed up on the day Moti and I agreed at 8A.M. and started moving boxes nonstop for the next 3 1/2 hours. Moran fell ill and was dropped off at public transit on the way to the new home. Eddie and Mike finished up in a matter of several hours. These guys are professional,courteous and entertaining.
Thanks Mike, Eddie and Moran for making this move less painful, you were great.
