Swindle is really an appropriate name. He refused to numb me when removing an old filling. This filling fell out less than 5 hours later. The 2nd time, it fell out after just 2 hours. Then he said he would have to do a root canal and crown on this tooth. I went to my previous dentist after this and he filled it, and I have had no problems - 3 or 4 years later.


In addition, EVERY TOOTH I let him fill decayed from the inside out! He does not remove all of the decay before he puts in the filling, making it decay inside - leading to inevitable root canal. Its quite a scam he is running. I was suspicious when it took him only a few minutes to finish the drilling AND the filling. My old dentist said it was nearly impossible to prove, but it certainly looked like it was done on purpose. One of my good friends had 6 teeth filled by Dr. Swindle - all of which decayed from the inside out, and all of which needed root canals by the time they were discovered.

Luckily, we were smart enough not to go back to him for the expensive root canals.

My son is a 6 year old patient of Dr Swindle. I found out that my son had several cavities and I was absolutely humiliated, but they never treated me like a bad mom or looked down on me. They worked really well around my days off and we didn't have to wait for months to have the dental work done!
