        The business was started in 1911 in Rockville, CT. In 1964 we moved to our present location on RT. 6 & 44 ( Boston Turnpike ) in Bolton, CT. Since 1964 we have grown to become one of Connecticut's best premium lawn and garden dealers. W. H. Preuss Sons is currently run by 3rd and 4th generation family members.         Been going here for 20 years, brought tractor mower in for routine spring servce, didn't see it for 6 weeks, 400 plus bill and work not done. Called picked it up again said day or two tops after many calls, week later delivered again, runs great, deck dead level, half way through the first time mowing the lawn the engage handle falls off under gas tank blade won't spin, call back...they didn't touch that particular part but the only way to tell was to pick it up. I declined and you should to.

        Great staff!

        When ever I needed a part or a repair, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for any thing related to small engine repair.
