Hal Davis Jewelers

We had their custom jeweler David that has been with Hal Davis for over 25 years design a one-of-a-kind wedding ring for us using a family heirloom diamond and adding several smaller ones we purchased from them. The entire process was amazing from the time you sit down with him to the finished ring. We met with him three different times in a private office at the store to view how the design was coming along on the CAD computer system. Once we had the design down David started his magic. I just can not tell you how happy I am. It is more expensive than selecting a ring out of one of there showcases but, there is only one girl in the world has this wedding ring - Me! I have heard so many good things about Hal Davis Jewelers over the years and they are all true. Great store, great reputation and great designer.

I just picked up my Rolex watch yesterday from having a major service. The repair was several hundred dollars but it was ready in 3 weeks compared to 8-12 weeks when i called Rolex in New York, plus i did not have to worry about shipping it to NY. Hal Davis gave me a claim ticket along with a photo and an insurance value when i left my watch with them. It is an amazing repair department. If you go into their store be sure to look at the impressive display of new Rolex watches.

We have had friends recommend Hal Davis Jewelers and so we drove downtowm from Meridian. We are so glad we did not just settle for a jeweler near our house. Service, Service, Service. I selected a Tacori engagement ring using a ipad they had in the store from the Tacori website. It was one of the styles Hal Davis did not have in the showcase at the time so they had it sent in overnight for me to look at. Well I fell in love with it and we ordered the ring using my grandmothers diamond for the major center stone. All I can say girls is this is a ring you will wear the rest of your life so it is worth it to check out Hal Davis in your shopping around.

We looked around for an engagement ring within our budget at the mall and in Meridian. I guess we just always thought we could not afford Hal Davis. The sales person explained that all of the designers they represent are made in the United States nothing is being made cheaply in China. We found the perfect ring in 18k white gold and the part the diamond sits in is done in platinum for durability. It was a little more than the look alikes at other stores but the quality of the workmanship was amazing. This is a ring i will have the rest of my life so i am glad we spent a little more for the mounting. The sales staff could not be more professional. It was a great experience for both of us. My boyfriend wants me to buy him a Rolex since he bought my wedding.ring for me :) Maybe for our 25 anniversary.

There store is in downtown Boise and they have been around like 50 years. It is very easy to find and like their radio ads say they have there own parking lot (rare in downtown). Once inside we were both treated truly like a guest in there home. No rushing, no hard sales pitch and the store itself is stunning. The granite floors and showcases are worth the stop alone. My girlfriend has always wanted a Tacori engagement ring. The store manager suggested that he have the representative from Tacori fly in to make an appointment to view the entire collection for us. Sure enough 1 week later we both were in a back viewing office at Hal Davis Jewelers with Carol from Tacori looking at every beautiful ring. We made a choice and in approximately 2 weeks we got a call from Hal Davis Jewelers Carrie's ring was in. We raced down there - perfect fit, etc. All i can say about both Hal Davis Jewelers and Tacori is we came first not just trying to make a sale an move on to the next sale. A++

They have the most amazing Rolex repair person. I sent my Rolex to Rolex in NY about 10 years ago for service. If i remember correctly it was near 900.00 to service and i waited 8 weeks to get it back from Rolex. It was starting to run slow the last few months and i took it to Hal Davis because i have several friends that have their Rolex's serviced there. I was able to get an estimate while I was in the store. The person that helped me at the take in really, really knew his stuff and was able to explain ever step and the price of the repair. They gave me a claim ticket along with my model number and serial number of my watch a photo and an insurance value for my records. The entire repair only took less thgan three weeks. It is keeping exact time. I could not be more impressed with the service and commuacatiom from them. There watchmaker is certified by Rolex and only works on that brand. A+ rating.

These guys worked magic on an heirloom diamond ring that my grandmother left me. I took it to several jewelers in town and they all said that they did not the equipment or skills to attempt repairing it. The repair was 275.00 but worth every cent to be able to have it restored and be able to wear it.

My girlfriend wanted a Ritani engagement ring so bad i goggled and found Hal Davis Jewelers was the only dealer around. I always thought I could not afford them because they carry Rolex and other expensive items. Was I wrong, the ring was priced right and the center diamond we picked out 1 karat size was cheaper than it was on the Internet sites for the same thing. We are not sure what was better about our visit the wedding ring selection or the incredible customer service.

This is unlike any jewelry store we have been too. Just amazing engagement ring selection. My girlfriend found a Tacori ring she fell in love with. Very classy service. We arrived early one morning and were offered coffee and pastries even when we said we were just looking. When the time is right this will be the store for such an important purchase for me.

GREAT watch makers. I had my grandfathers old Cartier watch no other jeweler in town could even open the case. These guys got it running perfect and i thought the repair price was fair considering it is a Cartier brand. Gorgeous jewelry as well, very high end classy store with very highly trained staff.

They just built a beautiful new store in downtown Boise with it's own parking lot. I first did business with them 25 years ago when I got a promotion and bought myself a Rolex watch from them ( i think they have been around for 50 years). They are an old downtown Boise retailer and always carry the latest designs. They have a great repair department.

This is a great store. I buy a lot of jewelry for my wife and Hal Davis is always my first, and usually only stop. The only problem I have found is the little red-headed troll who works there. On most occasions I find her to be rude and condescending.
