Overall

I was in to have my 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid repaired in the Collision Center. Dan Brehm and Amanda Duffer were awesome to work with. They were very knowledgeable! Made me feel like they were truly concerned about my needs and safety. With as much damage as my car had sustained I didn't want to drive my car any longer. So I began the process of looking at new cars and gave McCarthy of Blue Springs a chance but I got a low number on my trade in that they were fixing to be deemed safe for the road again. I ended up buying a car from Jim at Premier Mazda and bought a 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. They gave me a great price on my trade and also worked a great price on the car. They took my trade in sight unseen knowing the car was being repaired. They said if it was being repaired by Hyundai it will be fixed the way it supposed to be. Jim wanted to go pickup the car as soon as it was done so he went with me to pick up my car from the collision center. Steve Willis the Sales Manager came out and told Jim good luck with that car. Jim asked why and Steve had said cause that car has frame damage. Jim said well my dealership already owns this car and it's a done deal. Steve said again good luck. Now I was satisfied all the way up until I went to pickup the car. I didn't bring Jim to rub it in that I bought a car from someone else. He offered to give me a ride to pick up their car. What Steve didn't was not professional at all. He tried to intentionally ruin my deal. Because of Steve I will not ever come to this dealership to purchase a car and I will let everyone know what he did! My 2 Star Review is Solely because of Steve Willis. I would of rated it 5 Stars if it weren't for him.

I bought a BMW 3 series from M...

I bought a BMW 3 series from McCarthy Nissan in early October. Robert Cole, the salesman who worked with me, lied to me about the warranty. He stated that it was a 'certified' vehicle. Turns out, only BMW dealerships can certify a BMW. I did not misunderstand him like McCarthy claims I did, my boyfriend was with me the entire ordeal and he heard Robert say the same thing. I had the vehicle a month and 5 days,in that time,it died on me 12 times. Each time I had to have my roadside assistance come jumpstart me.I brought the car into the dealership 2 different times to have it checked out, both times they told me it would be taken to BMW to be diagnosed. It was never taken to BMW.The second time I was at McCarthy service,Shawn, just charged the battery for me,stating that was the problem. It died several times after that 'service.' I wanted out of the car no matter what it took,Mike Gardner, told me I was stuck even though they basically sold me a lemon. It took me leaving the dealership in tears and driving off,for him to call me and finally try to make a deal.My 'deal' I ended up with,is a car that is an even more expensive monthly payment and more expensive insurance.Even though the BMW was at the top of my budget. They wouldn't even let me look at anything cheaper because I would go into 'negative equity.' Every time I call into McCarthy, the sales people are rude and just put me on hold and bounce me off of every employee.I did not sign up for the Smart Payment on the new car,yet today,January 14th,the program took money out of my account. This has messed up the rest of my bills for the month,I had planned on making the payment in 2 weeks when it was due. I was not made aware by Mike or anyone else the payment would be automatic nor did I recieve a calender or even a notice stating when it would be taken out.My bank also charged me an overdraft fee because I was unaware of the payment. This has been the worst car buying experience I could have imagined. All McCarthy cares about is your money, not you.
