TERRIBLE SERVICE - NOTHING BUT LIES UPON LIES UPON LIES

This family-owned furniture company does a lot of mail-order business based soley upon their very low prices. This is because they could not survive as a store-front business - their service is a total abomination. The mother Shirley and the daughter Morgan are very slick and skillful liars - they suck you in w/their home-town, southern charm and grace and extremely low prices, then stick it to you once they have your money. Neither can tell the truth - they cover for each other and feed you nothing but lie after lie after lie. Our 'binding' quote was increased w/hidden fees; the expected delivery we were quoted that was supposed to be 10-12 weeks turned into 15 months! Their customer service is absolutely non-existent. You'll have to constantly call them, as neither Shirley nor Morgan have the common courtesy to ever, ever return your calls, or respond to your emails. They are crooks of the first order - remember this: DO NOT USE SOBOL! If you ignore this warning and choose to buy from them because of their low prices, I guarantee you'll regret it!

Because it was from several different furniture lines of the same company, I supposedly had to wait for various pieces. No communication unless I initiated it. Finally received an invoice for the second half of payment at the beginning of September, which upon calling, meant that they had all the pieces. It is not October 20th. The freight company is picking the furniture up Thursday or Friday, seven weeks after all the pieces were at Sobol House. COMPLETELY unacceptable. Ridiculously poor communication, you will hear NOTHING until they want money.
