Looking for something completely different, but came across this & couldn't resist. For the person with the slanderous review: Maybe, just maybe, this James guy was having a bad night. Maybe he wasn't talking about you to another customer. Maybe you personally knew or know this guy & are so twisted that you tried to smear his name, though, this was the most ambiguously holier than thou, review that I've read. Maybe, & stay with me, but the fact that you were drinking, may have skewed your vision just a touch. Maybe, you ordered in a rude way, maybe you were inconsiderate & didn't tip, because you didn't feel like it or forgot, or even just didn't have the money. I know, it sounds ludicrous that someone would have a subjective view on your obvious personal vendetta against James. I don't know him, don't know if he still works there, but I've only ever experienced great service, when I went. The drug thing, yeah, that's also speculative, highly slanderous & easily not in your best interest to say, legally. I've been a bartender & also worked in the service industry, which may give me a lot more understanding of how you hiding behind a screen, blasting him & his morality, is completely despicable & reprehensible. I also know that as a bartender, you get more angry & rude drunks in, while you maintain sobriety & sanity through it all. I won't delve into the different horror stories, which were a normal night at work, but let anyone just imagine.
The term "grown folks only" refers to anyone that can compose themselves in a mature, adult fashion with some degree of class and sophistication. I really enjoy my self when my husband and I visit the "club". THe atmosphere is great, it reminds me of a place (The Grenadier Club) I used to frequent so often years ago. The people know how to have fun and yet, keep it on an upscale status. I would and have recommended this location to several people. Keep doing what you do and keep it "For Grown FolksOnly". The "kids" have enough places to party already! KBG_B'ham
LOVE this place! My husband and I had a friend that suggested Olivia's so we drove from Vestavia to try it. I'm so glad we did. The food reminded me of my mom's! We started with the Spicey seafood dip which was awesome. Then my husband had the Blue burger which he loved and I had the chicken alfredo with grilled chicken..YUMMY! The waitress was really nice and we met the owner. She was great! Needless to say, we are fans and we'll be bacl!
