Phil's Glass

Took them over 2 months to complete my egress window! Left tools in the window well, compressor, nai[ gun, ladder, etc. for over 2 months. Still had to have another company come fix his work and that cost over $1,500 after I paid FAST PHIL $2,000. Is this loser still in business? I drive by his so called shop almost every work day on my way to work and back again and sometimes for lunch and he is always closed. Don't go by price when deciding which company to hire and for sure don't hire this clown. Should have had a clue the first time he showed up and I saw how over weight he is. I thought he was going to have a hart attack one day when he was actually working on the window. What a complete inconvenience to have to take time off of work to babysit him and his unskilled crew. I was not about to let that those guys work in my house while I wasn't there if you know what I mean.

Don't use this guy!!! He promised installation in two days. It took ten! He had one exscuse after another. First it was raining then the "ground was hard," then he was sick then it was Sunday ( "the lord's day") then he had to run to Stillwater mine to deliver windows to another customer. This guy routinely shows up at the work site between 9:30 and 10:30 A.M. To add insult to injury, the building inspector showed up because he neglected to get a permit. Said he "forgot." When I pressed him on the matter, he said he was trying to save me money in property taxes! He sits in his bobcat backhoe or pickup and barks orders at his two "apprentice kid workers" while he oversees the work. The most bothersome thing for me was the complete "mess" and eyesore he leaves at the end of the day, everyday for me and all my neighbors to look at. He literally leaves rakes and shovels and tools and garbage laying all over the place every night. His "exscuse" was that he was just going to use them all again the next day. At the end of the first day, he even left an extension cord running from the north end of the house all the way around in front of the front door and still plugged in overnight while it was raining! Oh, and he WILL take a credit card but then passes the 3.5 "upcharge" along to you, the customer. Stay as far away form this guy as you can!!!

I recently had my windshield replaced by at Phil's Glass. To their credit, Phil & Company used a decent replacement windshield and were thoughtful enough to replace my oil change sticker.Unfortunately, they also left several small blobs of sealant around the outside of the windshield. It looks like they broke two of the clips (which I understand is a routine part of the operation) and replaced them with clips of the wrong size. This makes a noticeable gap between the windshield and the outside molding. When asked Phil if this was to be expected, he first claimed that there was nothing wrong with the clips, and then became hostile and accused me of nitpicking. When I expressed concern about ice inside of the gap, he walked around the outside of my car and pointed to other windows with molding problems, asking if I also worried about them. Honestly, I would have been happy if he could have addressed my questions without resorting to hostility. I definitely will not return.
