The ambiance, the food, the wine, the staff, the food, the decor, the food, the food, oh yeah...the food. This place is so amazingly delicious you will not be dissatisfied. The kitchen is full of young eager chefs, the menu changes seasonally with AMAZING ingredients (where else in Billings can you get your hands on escargot), the level of creativity is eye popping. This is food as art. The staff are so knowledgeable and upbeat, they really know how to cater to a diner. They are happy to accomodate too. I came in with four people and two others asked to join twenty minutes later and they made room, moved tables, and our food came out just like we'd all been seated at the exact same moment. The decor and atmosphere are great. You don't find places like this outside Mulberry Street in New York very often. I could eat the meatballs here every single day. AND, the executive chef is on the line cooking every night, not sitting at a desk crunching numbers and reading recipes online. You have to eat here. You will walk away happy.
The decor and ambiance of the restaurant are beautiful. The beer and wine lists are excellent. Service was exceptional, but most of all the food is UNBELIEVABLY GOOD! By far the best Italian in this town since the old days of Vinnie's Italian Kitchen back in the mid nineties. They even have one of Vinnie's old dishes on the menu, Vinnie's Chicken Piccata. The red sauce is mind boggling, 1st rate! Try the homemade pork and veal stuffed raviolis. To die for! I also have found a new fine dining experience that I will be back for time and time again!
A few weeks after a month spent in northern Italy I took my daughter out to Cafe Italia. We decided to try one of our favorites from the Veneto, wild mushrooms. After one bite my daugher exclaimed, "De ja vu!" Attentive service complemented the meal along with the small, but well considered wine list. As good as Enzo's used to be.
