Let’s face it – nobody really wants to break down and have to be towed to an auto repair shop, especially if you’re from out of state. CMC Diesel listen to us as an customers, and was honest and genuine. Clay and his staff empathize with us, and truly understand where we were coming from. They listen to us as an customer in need, and went above and beyond for us. CMC Diesel kept us in the loop about what’s going on with their vehicle and the parts arrival times. We were 900 miles from home and we were treated like we were in our hometown. We made some amazing friends, there workmanship was top notch, and they were very fair on the pricing and labor! Breaking down on a road trip with the whole family on Memorial Day weekend is usually a recipe for disaster. IF you can find a mechanic, you hope not to be taken for a ride. But I'm lucky I found Clay from CMC Diesel.



He quickly diagnosed a failing fuel solenoid on my '97 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel, recommended a quick fix to get me back on the road, and gave me advice for how to fix it for good when I got back home. He and his wife were very polite and helpful, and his charge for the work was more than fair - it even made me feel a little guilty.



Excellent service, knows diesels inside and out, and fair pricing. If I break down on the road again, I'll just ask to be towed to Big Timber so CMC can work on it...

I broke down just 5 miles outside of Big Timber, MT with High Pressure Oil Pump failure on 07 F350. Called CMC at around 0700 on a Tuesday and CMC had arranged and helped me get my truck and trailer off the highway by 0830. Clay (owner) diagnosed and fixed my truck immediately without extra parts to fix one problem. This shop knows diesel trucks and performance!!! These guys were also the most hospitable shop I've ever come across as a lonely wayfaring traveler.
