I have nothing but praise and appreciation for the physicians who cared for me during my years of tremendous pain and suffering. It had gotten to the point where I couldn't even cover my body with a cover or sheet. Days and nights of excruciating pain had plagued my weak body. Initially, I went to see Dr. A. Rhyne for severe back pain. He was a very kind and soft spoken doctor. Immediately, I felt highly comfortable and receptive of his care. It didn't take long for me to realize I had found a great doctor and I was grateful for the service and care I received from him. Years later, after my back surgery, there was still a lot of pain. I had to have hip surgery. Dr. Rhyne recommended his colleague, Dr. Walter Beaver. On my first visit, I knew I was at the right place. Dr. Beaver's nurse, Tamara, was the epitome of the kind of nurse every doctor's office should have. I came in the office bent over in pain. When she came to get me, she smiled genuinely, greeted me, and reminded me to take all the time I needed to take each step. Kindly, she took my hand and her arm became my walking stick. She whispered softly, "Ms. Jordan, I know you're in a lot of pain, let me help you." She didn't need any X-rays to tell her I was in severe pain. She used her heart! Next, she helped to escort me to a room to take an X-ray. The gentleman there was exactly that, GENTLE. He told me to take my time and to move when the pain would let me move. He asked me if I needed help to put my legs on the table. When I nodded, he proceeded to lift them with a gentle understanding of my pain. I had to hold back the tears of appreciation. Gentleness and patience of this nature is truly found occassionally, not daily. At last, I finally got to meet Dr. Walter Beaver. I had already seen a picture of him. His picture reminded me of an older man of prominent statue. When I met him, his kind eyes greeted me with special kindness. I felt like I was in the presence of a priest. He seemed completely sincere and attentive. I had surgery on my hip and soon started to mend. After my hip got better, my neck pain got worse. Dr. Rhyne then recommended me to another colleague, Dr. Milam. He was a young physician with highly experienced characteristics. I felt completey safe and ready to get my last surgery over with. Not only was he highly competent, but he was extremely amiable with a handsome face to look at. What a sight for a sore eyes! When I hear people complaining about poor healthcare, I always tell them about the world's best physicians God sent to help me at Ortho-Carolina in Charlotte, N.C.
MY "DOGGIE" FOUND MY CANCER AND DR. EVANS HELPED TO CURE IT ! There aren't enough good words in the English dictionary to describe Dr. Evans to the fullest extent he deserves. I knew from the very first appointment, I was referred to the right surgeon. A BC diagnosis was the scariest event of my life. Dr. Evans immediately put me at ease..That it doesn't mean the end. With his expert care, surgical skills and let's not forget his infectious smile, I'm here today to write this review. Thank you, Dr. Evans and your entire staff for making my health crisis not so bad to get through. I highly recommend Dr. E. Craig Evans not only if you've been diagnosed with BC but for your general surgical needs as well.
Dr. Raad is EASY the BEST doctor in Charlotte by far and I have seen a LOT of doctors in my days. He is VERY compassiate, caring and outgoing. He is the only doctor that "REALLY" seems to care about me and actually spends time with me and listens to my concerns and is ALWAYS open to suggestions to help with my care. His office staff is ALWAYS friendly and caring. Overall if you need a WONDERFUL caring doctor that is like a "old fashion" type doctor then Dr George Raad is your doctor, just tell him Jeremy Moffett sent you. Thanks for reading my review, Jeremy :)
