Alright so the cupcakes are pretty good not gonna lie however, they have this 24 hour atm machine, and I was there at 3 AM and they ran out of cupcakes after I stood in line for 10 minutes with my cousins from out of the country that were so excited. I was pissed. But there cupcakes are pretty darn delicious.

I've heard a lot about these cupcakes and how ""amazing"" they are. This was a huge let down. The cupcakes are dried out and uninteresting. I've honestly had better cupcakes from an in-supermarket bakery. Please don't waste your money on these expensive mediocre cupcakes.

What I like most about these cupcakes is the buttery flavor of the moist cake, and of course the generous slathering of frosting. \r \r They are not inexpensive by any means, and there are no cupcakes that are worth $39 a dozen, but splurging every once in a while is not only good for your tastebuds, but good for your soul as well.\r \r \r \r \r \r

Now this is what I call awesome cupcakes! Though I have to wait a little before I can buy (the line was a bit long), it was definistely worth the wait. Took home a bunch for my wife and daughter and they too loved it. A lil pricey for a cupcake but worth it. I'll surely comeback for more

There is always a line outside of Sprinkles, and so I was tempted to see what everyone was raving about. Cupcakes have become such a trendy thing around these parts, so I was curious to see if Sprinkles was really worthy of all the attention. After a short wait in the gargantuan line, I will admit it moved pretty quickly, what waited on the other side wasn't worth the albeit short wait, nor a second thought. I was surprised that the cupcakes were really nothing special, a little sad and a little disappointed because I've heard such great things. I don't claim to be a culinary expert, but it's a cupcake, a pretty simple thing to evaluate and what I found at Sprinkles was great design, a very smart marketing ploy, and a whole lot of hype. The people who swear by Sprinkles are sheep, who see the masses and think that there must be something to the madness, but honestly there wasn't. Sprinkles is a pretty face without any substance. The cupcakes tasted like a Ralph's cupcake. In a blind taste test, you wouldn't know the difference. Their secret is just under baking the cake a bit, so it stays moist. Not rocket science. Maybe I would have been more sold if the flavors were more gourmet rather than your garden variety of chocolate and vanilla, vanilla and chocolate, and other just run of the mill flavors. Next time I won't waste my time or my money. It's honestly not worth it.

This poor excuse for a bakery doles out overpriced, overly sweet glops of yuck. A whole lot of hype and not a whole lot of anything else. Very average, nothing special. The cupcakes tasted very oily, and I was very disappointed because I could only stomach one bite. The frosting was hard like it had been sitting all day, and it reminded me of a bad doughnut, the way bits of hard sugar were flaking off. Crumb is so much better, at least there you can get minis and streusel toppings and meringue, which in my opinion is a lot more inventive. The Beverly Hills store is tiny, which makes it even less inviting. Not worth the wait, or the price. Just average.

I've been to Beverly Hills, and Scottsdale, but seem partial to the cupcakes in Beverly Hills, however Scottsdale never has a line. Darren Chaker

I gotta say, these cupcakes are not special! at $3 and up, they are ALL about the hype. They're good, sure, but so are the red velvet cupcakes from Ralph's. Not worth a long line or the expensive price.

Although the cupcake isn’t exactly a new invention, Sprinkles is really who we should be thanking for the cupcake craze. In 2005 the first Sprinkles opened in Beverly Hills and since then the Sprinkles brand has become a worldwide obsession. They bake up mostly traditional flavors and keep decorations to a minimum. At Sprinkles, the cupcakes speak for themselves--they don't need crazy toppings or other gimmicks to sell. Some of the flashier cupcakeries might lure you away temporarily, but in the end, you'll always find your way back to the ""original cupcake bakery."" Their ""best"" flavors really come down to personal preference, so it's hard to suggest a certain flavor here. If they have any seasonal or holiday flavors when you go, I'd recommend getting those since they're only for a limited time. Also, make sure to follow them on Twitter and/or Facebook because they give out ""secret words of the day"" that can score you a free cupcake if you're one of the first people to whisper it to them.

This place is terrible. Don't listen to any good reviews. I went to the one in Newport Beach, yesterday, and bought 2 cupcakes. There's too much frosting and it didn't taste like a butter frosting. The cupcake was stale and when I got home the ""cake"" part just fell apart into crumbles. You needed a spoon to eat it. I mean, for those prices, if the cupcakes aren't fresh, throw them out and make new ones. There's a much better cupcake place in Manhattan Beach on Manhattan Ave. I would never go back

The cupcakes are really not worth the long line. Maybe if you had just gotten your prescription from the medical MJ clinic at Venice Beach, yes the cupcakes would taste great, but so would a cupcake from Sara Lee. There is way too much sweetener and I doubt that the cupcakes are low calorie. A supermodel could live off one cupcake for a week and still feel fat.\r Yes, I was foolish enough to stand in line for almost an hour to get 6 cupcakes for $20. It was a case of morbid curiosity... so I can say ""Been there, done that.... got the bigger posterior to prove it.""
HEAVENLY, MOIST, BETTER THAN AN EXCELLENT CAKE BAKER, HAVING TASTE, AND TO DIE FOR. Other famous cupcakes, other great cupcakes, just don't have the moistness and flavor. Others that I've tasted look good, but NOT TASTE AND A LITTLE DRY. From Beverly Hills to Santa Barbara and other cupcakes so called experts, just don't get it--don't have it.
SPRINKLES CUPCAKES HAVE IT AND THEY GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These use to be great, but the most recent one I had tasted stale and dry.
Looking at the design of these cupcakes is really amazing but we are not just talking about presentation when it comes to food but also its TASTE... I might as well eat DONUTS in SEATTLE TOPPOTS... Really they're GOOD GOOD GOOD!

Love the taste but a little too sweet. Price is ok for the quality cake they make and the name. it is good for special day but cann't eat it everyday. It is good over all.\r \r Rosa

These cupcakes are over-priced and over-hyped.\r \r I love you, Oprah, but these are just not very good. The cake itself is pretty dense and flavorless, and the icing is just disgusting. Even at a lower price point, this is one dessert that is certainly not worth lining up for 30 minutes. Sorry!

My daughter drives from Covina to Beveryly Hills for their cupcakes, so I happened to be out there an thought why not?? I ordered black/white(good), red velvet and lemon(not very lemony). I wish I went when they baked Pumpkin! My favorite was the 'Red Velvet' the frosting is just a little too sweet, lighten up on the sugar and I think you will do even better.
This is perhaps the best cup cake place in all of Los Angeles. The red velvet cup cake particularly is a must-have. Service is quick, but the lines are super long. Be prepared to wait anywhere from 15 mins on a week night to almost an hour on weekends. Cup Cakes are pricier here than other places at around $4.50. Parking is available on the street or at a parking garage nearby.
The reason this place got 4 stars in my book - because they don't have a decent seating area. Very crowded and there is standing room if that. Lines form down the block sometimes. Once you purchase, your best option is to either wolf it down in a corner or take it to go.

This place has the most amazing red velvet cupcakes I have ever tried. Nothing is comprable. Not Yummy cupcakes, not even Magnolia which Sprinkles was reportedly designed after. If you're in the LA area, you have to make a stop here. Seriously their red velvet cupcakes are life changing.

I've heard about sprinkles from many friends. So I drove over 30 miles to get to sprinkles cupcakes. Just a reminder, I was celebrating my birthday weekend. I ordered a dozen cupcakes just 2 days before my scheduled pickup. I actually spoke to a live person at the Beverly Hills location. When I arrive to pick up my cupcakes, an employee tells me that they have NO order for me for pickup that day! An employee did find my order, but it was in the computer for pickup the following weekend. I was compansated, but that was just a little distrubing! :(
