Golden Corral Restaurants

All I want to know is when are you coming to queens ny

If you're going to the Golden Corral you know it's not going to be fine dining. There will be children running everywhere, lots of noise, and you cringe watching other people at the buffet. But if you want your family to pig out at a good price, it's hard to beat.

I am writing to complain about the horrendous experience that my party and I had at Golden Corral Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1465 STREET ROAD, Bensalem, Pa, Store 2573. I went to Golden Corral to celebrate the birthday of one of the youth in my church. I arrived to the restaurant at 9:30 pm, as soon as I got off of work. About 20 minutes after I arrived, the staff was starting to clean up to close. We were told by several members of the staff that we did not have to rush, however we had to get whatever food we wanted from the buffet before they were put away. Everyone was very nice until about 10:15 pm when they started to close.

We were getting mixed message from members of the staff. Some of them were telling us not to rush and that they would just clean around us and fully clean the room after we were done. Other staff members were visibly impatient and annoyed at our presence. When a staff member started flickering with the lights in the room, we took that as a sign that we were no longer welcomed and we started to wrap up the celebration. We rushed to sing happy birthday and blow out candles so that we could leave. As we were praying, the staff once again began flickering the lights and eventually turned them off. We were left in the dark for some time after the prayer. As we were gathering the cake and the supplies to leave a manager walks into the room and says “Excuse me, but we are closed. I have to clean this room and send these guys home now. They don’t pay us enough as it is and thy definitely will not be paying us overtime. I will give you guys some aluminum foil and you can take the food home, but you have to go.” Although we were shocked by his abrasiveness, we did not protest. We assembled our belongings and waited for the aluminum foil so that we can depart from the restaurant.

As he brought us the aluminum foil, he saw the cake being carried out uncut by the person we came to celebrate, he then had a change of heart. He told us that he will allow us to cut the cake, but we will have to take it home. We declined and told him that we would comply with his original request, but he insisted that we stay and cut the cake. Feeling relieved, the birthday boy cut his cake and separated it between us and even offered the staff some, but they declined. As I stood by the doorway, waiting for everyone one to start filing out, I heard one of the staff members say “Let me wait until they leave before I start shooting... I mean brooming.” His coworkers started laughing. I then walked up to him and asked who he was going to shoot? He replied, I meant brooming.

I honestly felt threatened. There were small children present, we were not loud or exhibiting raucous behavior, all we did was stay a little after closing. I do not feel like there was a need to threaten to start shooting us or insinuate that you will if we did not leave. Nowadays, implying that you have a gun or suggesting that you will shoot someone is no longer considered a joke. People are being gunned down in malls, schools, and at their workplaces. I was honestly afraid. Saturday was my first time at Golden Corral and I was extremely disappointed by the treatment we received. It truly saddened me. I never felt so disrespected. Knowing that I paid for the food and the service makes me feel like I paid to be disrespected. It feels like I drove all the way to Bensalem and paid my hard earned money to be disrespected by the staff at Golden Corral. I will never go back to another Golden Corral.

We ate at Golen Corral Restaurant in Florida, and the food was so good that it almost make you want to camp out there forever. So when I heard that they had one in the Pa I just cann't waite to try it again.

The food is always fresh and taste so good,But you have to go on a friday they have the best seafood.We need more Golden Corral here in Phila
