        Rest on the River

        We booked our room online but they had not received the reservation yet. The office staff was very nice I did not even offer the reservation number before she offered me another room. I had booked one room with a King size bed, but they offered me a room with two queen size beds along the rivers edge for the same price. We loved our room. It had a fire place, was very clean, the beds were very comfortable (even the pillows were soft), & the river was right outside our back sliding glass door. The indoor pool area was very nice with two hot tubs that both worked (one was a bit too hot the other was just right). The continental breakfast was the same each day but nice. There were eggs, bacon, sausage, cupcakes, hamburger gravy, cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, & potatoes. I did not here any construction from our room, but I did not see any going on either. It was peaceful & comfortable, with obliging staff & good customer service. I would stay there again & recommend it to friends & family.
