OUTSTANDING!!!! Dr. James is amazing! So honest, easy to talk to, compassionate, understanding, professional, realistic. I could go on and on! The staff is incredible. Everyone is so compassionate and just truly wonderful. Thank you for taking such amazing care of Tatum. She is doing great and we appreciate all of you!!! I don't understand why you want to shut down a business over what appears to be a misunderstanding. I feel compelled to give my thought about James D's review.



My family has used Lamp Veterinary Clinic for over 30 years. We have loved, cried, smiled and laughed together. The clinic staff and technicians are wonderful and compassionate. The doctors are marvelous. Granted we have had to have some situations referred to specialists but Dr Lamp, Dr James C. and Dr Berry have always been wonderful and if they cannot figure it out, they send us to someone to help.



I understand the online pharmacy. I myself attempted to get a prescription for Heartgard online. After talking the the Dr James C and Dr Lamp about their reluctance to write the prescription I understood why they chose to do so. These companies producing the flea meds and heart worm meds will reimburse you if not satisfied. If on Heartgard and bought through a veterinarian, not online pharmacy, Merial who makes the product will pay for the treatment of the heart worm disease. As long as you followed the guidelines. There are many things like this with all the flea, tick and heart worm products. So I believe you should step back and see how they were actually trying to help you. Now I know having to miss work and if you were told you could get it online I understand your frustration. People are human and mistakes do happen. I am sure they were looking out for your best interests.

Lamp gets ONE STAR out of five.

Lamp Vet Clinic is a lying ripoff. Please take your pet somewhere else. There are other vets in Bellville and many in the area. My complaint: A couple months ago I took my dog to Lamp Vet Clinic and Dr James said he would approve a prescription to buy Flea medication from 1-800-PETMEDS. Thursday I placed the order and paid for the medication from 800-PETMEDS. Friday the medication order was rejected. I called Lamp Vet and the receptionist said they would not release the prescription to 800-PETMEDS unless I had a heart-worm test within a year. I made the appointment for Monday morning. Monday morning I took off work to take my dog to the test appointment. After the test they tried to sell me medication. I said that I had already paid for it at 800-PETMEDS. After lunch I called them to confirm that the prescription was released to 800-PETMEDS. I was told by the receptionist that they do not release prescriptions to online sellers and said that I could come back and buy the flea medication from Lamp Vet Clinic. Lamp is a lying ripoff. 2 people told me they would write the prescription for 800-PETMEDS. I made an appointment and came in and paid them for the appointment to get the prescription. Then they would not release the prescription. They should have told me this from the beginning. Instead I lost time from work (2 times today) once for the appointment and again for going down there to tell them what I think of their lying crap. Find another place to take your pet. There are 3 vets in this town and many in the area.



If a thief took your money on the street you would shoot him. What do you do about a business stealing your money? I will spread the word and it will affect your business. I cannot put you out of business myself, but I will try.
