Sunrise Dental

I took my family to sunrise dental in Bellingham because they made promises of lower rates and free teeth whitening. The whitening was never mentioned to anyone in my family (five of us) and when I asked the dentist about it, he said my teeth were already really white. HA! He replace an amalgam filling in my tooth with porcelain and left a spot of silver that only shows when I smile. He messed up a root canal in my daughter's mouth, missed six fillings in my son's mouth, and two in my other daughter's mouth. Then the bills started coming in. They were more expensive than my previous dentist because they charge for every little thing separately. Root canal is one charge, another for the shot, etc etc. Pretty shady characters. Thankfully, my previous dentist ,Monica Foley, took us back. She is wonderful

Dr. Ahmed's dental practice is not the "kmart" of dental practices. He maintains the most advanced equipment, provides the most comfortable patient environment, and is beyond a doubt one of the most experienced and best trained dentists in Bellingham. For my money, I'm more interested in quality and affordability rather than simply finding the most expensive dentist in town. I want the best care I can afford. Dr. Ahmed and his staff in Sunrise Dental have consistently exceeded my expectations - especially in the quality of the restorations and in his attention to his patients. Thank you Dr. Ahmed really Appreciate it.

Great Overall Experience, I dread going to the dentist as much as the next guy, and having just moved to Bellingham I had been putting it off for as long as possible - until I damaged the bonding on 2 of my teeth. I went to Sunrise Dental and I must say I was extremely satisfied with the experience. The office is clean and nice, I didn't have to wait more than five minutes before I was called, and the staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Dr. Ahmed is pleasant and professional and did FANTASTIC work on my broken bonding. He eyed the color and matched it perfectly, I left the office shocked with how good my teeth looked and how little discomfort I felt. Also, the prices were very reasonable, and even though I don't have dental insurance (paid out of pocket) I didn't leave feeling slighted at all (exam plus x-rays for just $39 which is great). All things considered it was a very pleasant visit to the dentist, and I'm certain that I have found "my dentist" for my time in Bellingham. If you are looking for a good dentist he is your guy.
