I reserved a van 3 months in advance. Upon landing, we proceeded to stand in line for 73 minutes at the Enterprise counter. None of the other rental agents in the airport had more than 2 or 3 in line at a time, I was #22 at Enterprise. Talking to others in the line, everyone had reservations. Once we signed all our paperwork, we were informed that the vehicle was on site but not yet cleaned. We would be called up in the order we arrived to get our keys. After another hour, we were finally on our way. We missed the first function of our vacation due to the 2 1/2 hour ordeal of picking up our reserved vehicle! We witnessed several people in line give up and go to other vendors.
I will say that the young man working the counter on August 24 was doing a fantastic job in a terrible environment. He was keeping his professional disposition while getting ripped apart by repeatedly for cars not being ready.
